Quite simply the best evening we spent in Egypt.

After sailing calmly to Banana Island, we were able to go much further on the Nile, all in sublime calm and serenity.

An enriching experience, and one of rare humanity thanks to Captain Taya and Mohamed. THANKS.

This is a trip with just a boy boat captain and no guide no commentary and you are left to make the best of it yourself. The River Nile is charming in any case so you probably will enjoy it but we just expected a little more of a “tour”.

Dealing with Kareem the company owner has probably been the worst part of our experience as he is very temperamental and does not accept any constructive feedback. He even canceled our trip for the next day last minute when I shared some feedback with him.

He could have simply shared what the trip is about and what to expect but he was too busy to do so hence our disappointment.

For that I would hesitate to recommend using crown tours for other travelers as you would not want your plans falling apart because the company owner was in a bad mood!

Boat captain arrived very early and we agreed to go 30 minutes earlier than booked. As we boarded, there was no wind so we were served a cup of tea instead of setting sail. We waited in vain for the wind and after about 40 minutes were towed to Banana Island where we walked around for a bit and then sat on the boat waiting for the wind. This never came. In the end it was decided that we would return to the hotel’s dock, using a combination of the boat’s oars and the river current. The captain was pleasant and tried hard in frustrating circumstances.

We had a very nice experience sailing the Nile with captain Musa and Muhammad, both friendly and wished us to have a pleasant time sailing the Nile with them on their Felucca. Would highly recommend anyone to book with them!

We had a lovely evening watching the Nile sunset from a comfortable, clean felucca. The two crew members were made sure the trip was a memorable one. The food was discussed beforehand and was delicious. If I had one concern, it was having to climb down a muddy bank to the boat, and then back up again in the dark. Definitely wouldn’t be suitable for elderly or disabled people.

It was a fun evening! Everything ran smoothly. Mossa was a great captain! We got lucky and picked an evening with good winds, which made for good sailing conditions

Great experience so calming and peaceful. Capitan musa and ziyad were very accompanying and made sure we are in comfort always a great company great guy definitely recommend him

The sunset on the Nile was very beautiful. It was a great memory. We went as a family of four and everyone was very satisfied. The captain of the felucca and the young man at the front were very friendly. However, it was a little disappointing that there were no life jackets.
