We met the guide and did the 3 hour tour with her- we were the only 2 person so it was great.
She was informative, had a pleasant disposition and provided context to the country's history.
We learned a lot from her, and things we could not learn from reading a book. She also discussed daily life for Chileans. I would highly recommend her as a guide. This was the best tour we did on this trip and we have been in South America for over 3 weeks.

Malu was an outstanding guide who showed us the diverse neighborhoods and provided great insight into the history of Santiago. Her knowledge of everything from art to flowers to history were amazing. Great tour!

This agency is a fraud - they redirect you to a free city tour. We arrived to the meeting point and a guide wasn't there. We called the agency, and they told us to go to a different meeting point. Eventually we got to a group that was led by some college student volunteer, working for tips and who had nothing to do with this agency. This guide was genuinely surprised and said there are no reservations for his tour. I wish the previous review was available at the time of my booking. Avoid at all costs - they just collect your money for nothing.

Beware, this tour is a complete scam - Jurassic Tours (who you are buying this tour through) takes your money and then sends you on a ‘free’ walking tour hosted by a different agency. At the end of the tour, the guide is obligated to ask for a tip as he/she doesn’t receive any portion of what you are paying for this tour. Save your money and book directly with Chile Urban Tours. That tour was great and is unfortunate that this agency is taking advantage of tourists as well as the other company.

Give us a lot of the history. He made it fun as well as interesting and I learnt a lot about parts of Chilean history. I also got a good feel for downtown Santiago.

Claudio was a wonderful tour guide! He explained the history of Santiago, Chile very well and in a humorous way! He definitely made the experience enjoyable! There was lots of walking, but of course this is a “walking tour”. The museums were closed the day we reserved our tour, but Claudio made do with what resources he had and it was still enjoyed by us all! He ended the tour in a nice area with many restaurants around which was perfect for lunch time! He even gave us recommendations! Definitely take a light jacket as it might get cold if you choose to go during October!
