This was the best tour to see the sloths and monkey in Fortuna! We didn’t book ahead and we didn’t have any problem with the walk-in. Mauricio and Manuel were very patient with us and especially with my 3 year old son. They made sure that we got to see a little bit of everything from sloths, monkeys, birds, frogs and even explained different kind of plants and trees. We samples some of the herbs Mauricio grew himself, it was the best! He even gave us this sweet fruit to take home! I hope to visit again one day!

We had an amazing experience. Our guides were able to find us sloths, monkeys, toucans, and pointed out very interesting facts about the jungle. We would never have been able to see sloths without them! A highlight, must-do, for every trip to Costa Rica. More than highly recommend!

The tour was incredible! The guides did such a good job spotting sloths, monkeys and toucans in the trees up above and pointing them out to us. The tour was super informative and we definitely learned a lot about the jungle too. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel immersed into the jungle and see so many cool animals!

We didn’t know what to expect with this tour - it was a spontaneous decision as we had no other plans that afternoon, but it turned out to be a highlight of the trip! Mauricio is an expert in his field, and so passionate about the animals and plant life. We were dubious about how a tour can “guarantee” to see sloths, but we were pleased to find out that him and his team locate them in the morning and place markers so others can see them throughout the day in their beautiful natural habitat. We saw 3 sloths in total, amazing! The tour lasted nearly 2 hours and we also saw howler monkeys, toucans, black and white owls, iguanas, and lots of birds including the beautiful motmot. I can’t recommend this tour enough, if we could only do one thing in La Fortuna - this would be it!

If you're looking for an easy walk with a lot of local wildlife and flora, this is the tour for you. Mauricio and Daniel go out of their way to take you on an unforgettable tour. They take their time and have great binoculars for you to see and take pictures of all the animals up close.

It was amazing, saw many sloths, but without a guide you would be completely lost. They are so hard to find in their natural surroundings. Thanks to Manuel for showing me, where to look. Try it, you won't regnet it.
