Take a 3-hour private guided walking tour of Santiago which introduces you the historical center of the city and surrounding neighborhoods. Get a glimpse of local life while strolling through the Bellavista neighborhood. Walk along Santiago's plazas, commercial center, markets and notable museums and stop by the La Piojera, one of the oldest bars in Santiago.

1. La Moneda
After having met your guide, the first stop of the tour will take you to see the Presidential Palace La Moneda and Constitution Square where we explain you the history of this important place; the years of dictatorship as well as the current situation in Chile.
2. Santiago Stock Exchange
We continue our walk now towards one of the oldest streets in Santiago (Calle Nueva York) hiding the magic of ancient Chile
3. Paseo Ahumada
Next we walk along the busy street Paseo Ahumada through the commercial center of the city taking us to the main square
4. Plaza de Armas
When in Plaza de Armas, we give you an introduction to the history of Santiago. We also get to observe the Mapuche monument, the street artists - paintings, and the historical buildings like the Central Post Office, Municipality of Santiago and the National History Museum.
5. Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana)
After this, feel free to visit the main Cathedral of Santiago
6. Central Post Office (Museo Postal)

7. Central Market (Mercado Central)
Our next stop takes us to discover the Santiago Fish Market: Central Market. Observe the Chilean gastronomy and the local market vendors selling the fresh fish and seafood from the Chilean Pacific
8. Mercado Tirso de Molina
After, we cross over the Mapocho river and get to see a typical fruit and vegtable market Tirso de Molina
9. Parque Forestal
Walk along the walking paths of the beautiful Forestal park leading us to the Fine Arts Museum
10. Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts
You will now get the chance to visit briefly the Bellas Artes Museum / Fine Arts Museum
11. Barrio Lastarria
We continue our walk towards our final point of the tour the vivid Lastarria area offering us a nice atmosphere of local art and culture where we will finish our walking tour

Claudio had good knowledge and seem passionate about Chilean history and politics. We saw a lot of interesting building and learned a lot during our walk. Claudio even managed to get us to a playground to keep the kids entertained. We loved our tour and highly recommend it.

Tomas was a wonderful guide. He was full of interesting details about the city and all the places we visited and he did a superb job of answering all of our questions. The itinerary was really interesting. We have been on walking tours of cities all over the world and this was definitely one of the best.

Tomas was a great host. Picked us at the hotel and walked around Santiago center, customizing the experience for our needs. We’ve learned about the history, politics, food, music events, etc…. We felt safe and welcomed .

My time with Laura was wonderful! She knows the city and its history well. Before we started she sought my input on our itinerary. I saw exceptional street art, historic sites, beautiful parks and local bookstores I never would have found on my own. She served as my interpreter to allow me to engage with public teachers protesting resources available to them in rural areas and poor pay - not so different from rural Texas. A great use of my brief time in Santiago.

Our guide ( Lautaro) was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Chile and the city of Santiago. He provided many interesting insights to the various locations throughout our 3 hour walking tour. The pace and scope of the tour was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend Lautaro if your looking for this type of tour of the wonderful city of Santiago
