It was relaxing, the holiday wine “gluhwein” ” was delicious as well as the small treats to eat.
This was a nice break in our day to unwind and see the canals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private canal tour of the 2023 Amsterdam Festival of Lights. Captain Deep was very knowledgeable and courteous. We enjoyed the calm and informal chat that we had during the tour. He really set the scene nicely with some bites to eat, and we also had ordered a bottle of bubbly for the cruise. Thank you for creating some beautiful memories on our 1st wedding anniversary!

We decided to pay the high price tag and go for a private canal tour. At the time we didn’t know if it was going to be a waste of money, especially since there was lots of other cheaper choices around Amsterdam. We were completely wrong!. This turned out to be the most memorable thing we did on the trip and something we will always remember our entire lives!. The skipper (Dirk) was outstanding, he did everything to make sure we were comfortable and even went out of his way to show us popular viewpoints. The boat was beautiful and decorated lovely, the entire atmosphere was stunning and romantic. Since we had our tour, we have been smiling ever since and telling everyone who is thinking of going to Amsterdam to spend just a little bit extra to get the memory of a lifetime. Wrap up warm in the winter months, as the ride can get very cold, but fortunately there are blankets on board to help with this. We can’t thank Romantic Tours Amsterdam and especially Dirk enough for the best experience of our lives - it is something we will never forget

We had a truly magical and very romantic evening soaking in the sunset and unparalleled city views from the canals with the lovey Skipper Derek! The cheese and stroop waffles served were delicious and we loved the Skipper’s knowledgable insights about this beautiful city and his personal stories, too! We couldn’t recommend this tour more - an absolute treat and very, very worth the money!

We went on this private, romantic trip yesterday (Tuesday 26th Sept) it was truly inspiring. Our guide was fabulous! Very personable, made us laugh the whole way around and we had lots of delights on-board. We got engaged on the seven bridges and he took us there and we got to see it in only a way you can see if you book one of these tours. A*** - you will not be disappointed!
