1. Hassan II Mosque

2. Mausoleum of Mohammad V
After 1-Hour driving to the Grand Islamic mausoleum in Rabat, was built between 1961 and 1971, following the death of King Mohammed V in 1961. The mausoleum was designed by the Vietnamese architect Nguyen Viet Thu, and construction was carried out by Moroccan artisans and craftsmen. it features impressive Islamic architecture, intricate marble work. The tombs are made of white onyx and situated beneath a large dome.
3. Royal Palace of Rabat
After 15 minutes. we will reach a grand palace built in 1864s during the reign of Sultan Mohammed IV, is the official residence of the King of Morocco. The palace features traditional Moroccan architecture, ornate ironwork, and intricate telework. While visitors are not allowed inside the palace, they can view if from the outside and enjoy the surrounding gardens. It remains an important cultural and historical site in Rabat
4. Hassan Tower
10 minute to reach a minaret Hassan Tower, adjacent to the ruins of an unfinished mosque. Construction of the mosque and mineral began in the 12th century during the reign of the Almohad ruler, Yacoub al-Mansour. the tower stands at 44 meters (140 feet) tall and features intricate decorative details, such as calligraphy and geometric patterns.
5. Bab Chellah
10-minute ride, we arrive to a historical site known for its beautiful gardens, ancient ruins, and a famous gateway called "Bar Chellah" which dates back to the Almohad dynasty.
6. Andalusian Gardens
in about 10-minutes. to a beautiful, traditional garden. it was built in the early 20th century by the French architect Jean-Claude Forestier. it features a central reflecting pool, orange trees, flower beds, fountains, pavilions, pergolas, and ornate tile work and gates, all characteristic of the Andalusian garden style.
7. Ancient Walls Medina Rabat
5-minute to reach a historic fortification dating back to the 12th century, made of sandstone and reinforced with bastions, gates, and towers. they surround the old city of Rabat, and visitors walk along them to enjoy views of Medina and surrounding area.
8. Kasbah des Oudaias
in 5-minute to a 12th-century citadel. Kasbah known for its narrow streets, white and blue walls, small houses, and flowers-filled courtyards. it has several landmarks, including a mosque, museum ..

Had a fantastic day to Rabat / Sale with Adil as our guide.
Lots of little extra bits of interest on the way, and even a hot lemon drink for my husband when he started coughing.
Plenty of time at each stop to see and hear about the history.

Day trip to Rabat is a perfect option if you are planning a quick trip to visit the capital of Morocco. Mona was our tour guide and she was amazing explaining all the locations, answering all questions and she even managed to provide the tour in English and French at the same time. You will be back in time for lunch in Casablanca having visited all the UNESCO heritage sites in half a day. Definitely worth it.

It started late, the driver was about an hour late, but tour finished on time. Hassania Aitahmad was our tour guide. She did wonderful job explaining and answering all questions.

Very Nice tour and very Nice guide.
Rabat is a very clean and beautiful city. For lunch we had traditonal morrocon food on a restaurant facing the river.
Recommended.

Had a wonderful time exploring Rabat with Adil. Within a day, I was able to visit the Photography Museum, the Andalusian Fortress, the King’s Palace, and the Roman Fortress. Rabat is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve visited and would like to revisit in the future.
