Snorkel, swim, relax on a float, sun bathe on the deck, sip cocktails on a white sandy beach!
We adapt our daily schedules around you and your desires to snorkel, sail, or just relax.
Our boat is stocked with snorkeling equipment, two paddle boards, fun floats, and swim belts.
Your trip includes our morning pastries & coffee. Afternoon appetizers: Fruit & gourmet cheese platter, guacamole, hummus, selected chips, and assorted snacks & cookies.
Ship's Bar: local beer & rum, vodka, tequila, and white wine. Our boat is stocked with an assortment of drink mixers and organic juices.

Our sailing trip was supposed to be the second day of our vacation, but unfortunately a member of our group fell ill and spent the night before in a local hospital. Katie at Sandy Bottoms Sailing could not have been more accommodating in getting our trip rescheduled and even offered us a refund despite it being the day of the trip when I gave them notice. That alone would be worth five stars, but the day on the boat itself was fantastic, as well. Captain Arturo and Chrissy were excellent hosts. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with Sandy Bottoms!

An incredibly customized and personalized adventure. Traveling with teenagers through a 6 year old, the captain and crew made sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed... even going beyond expectations to support our family.
The food was absolutely amazing and they had a variety to meet everyone's taste. The boat was very well stocked with lots of great food, water, and drinks (for kids and adults).
The boat is in great shape and you can tell there is pride in cleanliness and being prepared.
We were never rushed and had plenty of time to snorkel, jump off the boat, and relax. We had family fun at our pace, which made this absolutely worth it.
The company sends out all the instructions you need and was great with communication, so that there was no question about how to get to the boat, what to pack, etc. I had a very clear understanding of what to expect which made things a lot easier on the parents.

Such an amazing trip with Captain Arturo and first mate Christy! My family and I enjoyed every minute of this once-in-a-lifetime excursion, especially hanging with the manatee off of Los Lobos island. Thank you both so much for taking such great care of us!

I highly recommend sailing with them
The boat was clean and the captain Autoro was great
They started us off with fruit and pastries coffee and juice
We sailed for about an hour to a beautiful beach area with great reefs for snorkeling
While we were in the water they put together a wonderful charcuterie spread and had unlimited cocktails
We all said it was our best day in PR

I went on this tour with my mom and I loved it. We were offered a light breakfast and then the captain walked us through the paperwork and expectations. We then sailed out to the private island and he pointed out the landmarks that we passed by. My mom and I wanted something more laid back and relaxing and chose not to blast bad bunny on the bluetooth speakers but that is an option for guests. The charcuterie that we got was elaborate and yummy and included a variety of dips and chips. Lastly, in regards to the menu a large variety of alcoholic beverages are offered and if you want cocktails made for you the hostess will make them all you have to do is ask. My mom chose not to swim once we reached the island but I snorkeled along the reef and saw sting ray and a variety of tropical fish. I also swam from the boat to the shore and walked the private beach. Guests are also given the option to tan and stay on the boat too or paddle board for a more laid back experience. The food menu was extensive, there was plenty of activities, and the captain and hostess were wonderful and I have zero complaints. HOWEVER the price of the excursion is what got me, I am assuming since it was high season the price was much higher but if you book earlier you may get a better deal but I am unsure. This excursion was definitely the highlight of my 6 day trip to San Juan and can accommodate older couples or college kids.

Such a great day from beginning to end. Arturo the Captain and Hiram were so accommodating. We felt pampered all day and never had to ask for anything. Sailing was so amazing and the boat was well equipped and very clean. The fact that it was private to our group and we could choose how much or how little we wanted to do. JUST AMAZING!
