Tasting Pompeii Tour is a guided tour lasting about 15 minutes, inside a historical scenario, around the 4 hectares of property of Bosco de' Medici Winery, close to the Archeological Site of Pompeii. The tour includes the following stages:
1. The Experimental Vineyard: farm owned rows, grew in Piedirosso, Aglianico, Caprettone and Falanghina.
2. Historical Structures: a portion of the archeological site of Pompeii; an irrigation channel built by Bourbons, the ancient kings of Naples; and the ruins of a family villa fo'rom the 18th century, where we have started to produce wine in the cellar underneath, inside some terracotta amphorae underground
3. The wine cellar, equipped with stainless steel silos, wooden barrels and terracotta amphorae

We had a great time! The wine and food was incredible. Every wine we tried we absolutely loved. Mari was our tour guide and she was great! she was very well informed and very nice! She let us walk around the entire property after and pet the horses! Would definitely recommend this wine tasting.

The whole Pompei experience was wonderful. We had a fabulous guide that was so knowledgeable about the city. We then ended the day with a glimpse of the Bosco De’ Medici winery grounds, and the most delicious lunch and wine. Our Sommolier Sir King Anthony was delightful! All the servers and staff went over the top to make our experience so special.

We just returned from a trip to Italy and had a wonderful time at this winery. It’s a great spot to visit and the wine and food were excellent. We purchased a case of wine and it was actually delivered before we arrived home!

This was our very first time in Italy and had the opportunity to stop at the Bosco de Medici Winery to enjoy our lunch and wine tasting before going on a tour of the Pompeii ruins. We highly recommend the winery. The staff and food was truly amazing. Special shoot out to Nicoletta and Emanuele for making our visit so enjoyable. They were the best.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Not only is it stunning but the staff is top notch. We hit a lot of traffic coming from Almafi and missed out time, they allowed us to come the next day which was beyond. This was one of our favorite things we did. We did the 3 course meal with wine tasting and the food and wine was delicious. We didn’t know there was a hotel on the premise or we would have stayed there. The grounds are gorgeous, there are beautiful horses there as well. Def make the trip to this beautiful place!
And thank you again to the wonderful staff!

Our visit to Bosco de Medici and wine tasting was the best activity of our trip to Pompei. All the staff were very friendly, still a shout out to Ciro for the fantastic service. A super fun experience! We still buy their wine because it is really delicious! (Belgium)

We were greeted warmly by a very charming lady who drove us through the vineyard explaining the origin of the term lacrima Cristi and showing us how they grow their vines and produce their wine.
Followed by a Prosecco tasting and lunch. We were served 5 wines and got topped up as often as we wanted. They even let us try their better quality wines and grapas free of charge. The meal consisted of an anti pasti plate, pasta dish and dessert. Quite tasty.
Good to know: if you decide to buy wine there they also offer international shipping. We used that service and it worked very well. Bottles were well packed and protected and arrived in about 3 weeks time.
Absolutely recommend this tour!

Wonderful gem of a hotel. Visited with my teenage daughters. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The venue is stunning! Incredible views of Mount Vesuvius. We spent time walking around the stables where their horses are so gentle and enjoy human company, which has to be a sign they’re well cared for. We didn’t go riding, but you could easily book if you wanted. The tour of the vineyard was so enlightening and educational. The hotel serves incredible wines, that they grow from vines on the side of Vesuvius. Easy to walk to pompei too, which of course we did. Highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely amazing! The wine, the food, the presentation, the staff! Got the absolute best service from Vincenzo! Fun, entertaining, sabered a bottle of sparkling wine and sang for my mother who celebrated her birthday. I do highly recommend going here! And also, book the private tour instead of the group one. We felt very special and we really appreciated the whole experience. Thank you!
