Batur Volcano Sunset trekking/Hiking is best choice for you to avoid wake up at midnight to do volcano trek. This trip will start at noon arround 13:00 o’clock, our professional driver will collect from your accomodations (depends on your locations) then he will drive you safely to Mount Batur trekking starting point.
Once you there your professional trekking guide will welcomed you with his smile. before the trek start, he/she will give you bottled water and walking stick. Starts of the journey we will walk in to Balinese holy temples, local farms, and scenic rain forest. Along the way to the top, our friendly guide will give you explaination about the volcano, local cultures and many more. After 2 hours trek, We'll arrived at the top. Here you will witness a stunning view of sunset. As you enjoy the view, your guide will cooks some banana or eggs in volcanic hot steam.

We were picked up from Ubud at 2:20 am, providing ample time for the climb. As someone not particularly active, I took several breaks along the way. The ascent typically takes around two hours, but without breaks, it could be done in just 40 minutes. I highly recommend the hot springs as a relaxing post-hike activity.

Our guide, Gede, was incredibly supportive throughout the trek. The scenic view from the summit made the hike worthwhile, with picturesque rice fields, a captivating swing, and a decent waterfall. Our driver, Kelan, and his friend, Ayu, were also very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this experience.

The overall experience was wonderful, but I would suggest it only to those who are physically fit and exercise regularly. The hike lasted approximately two hours uphill and two hours downhill, with no steps for the ascent, requiring physical strength to navigate. It was quite exhausting.

Such an intimate adventure with my partner. And an experienced guide to lead the way. There wasn't any other tourists around and only ran into another of 5 on the way down. Felt like we had the whole climb experience to ourselves! no regrets with the sunset experience!

Hiking Mount Batur is an absolute must while in Bali! It seems like it could be strenuous to wake up early and trek up the mountain in the morning hours while dark, but it was truly a wonderful experience. Down to the selection of the trail, it was a better experience because of the care from our guide. It goes without saying, you really can't understand how beautiful that sunrise is without seeing it firsthand. So worth the trek, and even with the bit of rain at the summit, it was just epic. Highly recommend this adventure to everyone :)

Gede was a timely and communicative driver who made the experience very easy for us. Ketut was a great guide for the hike and showed us alternate routes, less busy places to sit before sunrise, and other spots on Mount Batur. Highly recommended!!!

The organization (Mount Batur Sunset Trekking - All inclusive tour)was great. we were picked up at half past 2 in ubud & received a message in advance to confirm the time. with the driver we drove to the place where we did the hike. our guide was super nice & kept asking if we needed a break. we had a good hour until we arrived at the top & then a breakfast was cooked for us... everything was great! We would definitely do the tour again with you & can recommend it to everyone to do this tour.
