We were met by an organizer from LivTours when our driver (also arranged by LivTours) dropped us off at the Louvre. I forgot his name but he was great as was the driver. He handed us off to Iman, our tour guide.
Iman spoke perfect English and had funny stories to keep us entertained while we waited for the museum to open. He and my husband bonded over American movies.
On the tour, Iman took his time, explained historical facts about the paintings we viewed and answered all of our questions. We were never rushed!
I would definitely recommend this company and Iman to anyone who wants a great tour with a down to earth knowledgeable guide.

My problem with the tour started with the guide being late. I get traffic, etc. things happen...but that was not professional.
The guide took me to another entrance, we were waiting there and were let in at 9:05am. Not an early entry as advertised.
As a matter of fact the same large group of people were smashed up in front of the Mona Lisa by the time we made it in and they paid $17.00 for entry. Not in anyway a private or VIP experience for which I paid $400+ for.
Also, we were 2nd in line for the other entrance. When it came time to line up - the guide started taking us to the back of the line, a nice couple insisted that we take our rightful spots. I think the guide should have done that. For the price, for the experience promised, there was no urgency, etc.
I don't think my tour went as advertised or as paid for.

This was an amazing experience. We literally got to see the Mona Lisa first and enjoy it before crowds came into the area. Thank you livtours for making this possible. Meng are guide was exceptional and taught us so much during our visit to the Louvre

Our guide, Nancy was fabulous, we made it to the Mona Lisa for the first photo. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Louvre and the art works. Highly recommend this tour

Our tour guide, Claire, gave us a truly one-of-a-kind experience. It was clear that not only is she educated in art history, but she is truly passionate about art. Although the tour was quick, we saw and learned a lot. Because this tour starts so early, we were one of the very first to get into see the Mona Lisa, and there was hardly any wait. Really the best way to see the Mona Lisa, in my opinion.
Highly recommend this tour and having Claire as a tour guide in particular!

This is a quick tour that introduces you to the main pieces and then allows you to explore on your own. Starting with the Mona Lisa first thing was great as the crowd grew very quickly. Meng was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The small group was so nice. There were 4 of us in our group. Highly recommend this tour to 1st time Louvre goers to see the highlights quickly and then wander about.
