Kim was a delightful and professional guide. He transported us through areas of Miyajima that we may never have discovered on our own. My husband and I highly recommend Kim and this rickshaw tour. It was excellent.

Very enjoyable trip for 30 minutes. The pictures and locations were some of the best of the trip. It was a very busy Saturday and Kambo guided us very easily and without delay. Thoroughly recommended

Hama’ our ‘rickshaw boy’ is a lovely, friendly fellow who is enormously strong. His English is good and he entertains with insights and humour. Totally recommend this good-value experience.

Took a private Rickshaw ride and had Hama as our 'man'. He was excellent -so enthusiastic even though he had been doing this for five years. His English was quite good and he wasn't shy about using Google translate when he needed to. A definite thumbs up experience - would highly recommend - we felt like royalty.

We didn't realize that the island was so far from the train station! But well worth the travel time. Our driver Ryomo was fantastic. We did 45 minutes on the rickshaw and then wandered around ourselves....some lovely shopping here.

I am posting this review almost an year later. To the tour/rickshaw guide my apologies. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Japan. One could not have seen Miyajima better in a short time like that. The Island would be lovely to spend a day and walk around, we did not have the time to do so. The temples, countryside the cable car ride and cuisine were great. The only landmass that survived the atomic bomb is very evident looking at the surrounding. We took a boat ride from opposite the memorial park. A 40 min ride to the island and probably the easiest way to get there.

The guides are so enthusiastic and fun throughout the hour long trip. We saw more than we would have without using the rickshaws. They guided us through the nearby shrine at the beginning, up a hill to a beautiful garden ending at the market. I highly recommend.

This was the most fun I've had in the whole trip, although at first I felt a little out of my comfort zone being pulled along, I warmed to the idea of sitting like Madam Muck, and imagined what it must have been like in the past when this mode of transport was the norm. A lovely peaceful way to see the main part of the island and 5pm was a great time as most of the hoards of people had gone, Mayo my guide was informative and funny, I loved how well his leg breaks worked going down hills LOL!!

Time constraints , led us to miss the tour time. Upon turning up 40 minutes late , there was no representative around to speak too. If you are staying in central Hiroshima , allow an hour and a half for travel time. This is not very well stated at time of booking.
