We had the most wonderful tour of the North and East Shores of Kauai! Out tour guide, Kraig, was FUN, interesting and so very knowledgeable. Even though it was a rainy day, we didn't care...Kraig gave us a detailed tour with beautiful and mesmerizing scenery. We stopped for lunch at a popular food truck, and learned even more about the history of Kauai as we munched happily on our freshly prepared salads and sandwiches.
We highly recommend Kraig as a tour guide, and we highly recommend Private Luxury Tours of Kauai; North and East Shores!

Our driver, Orlando, besides being knowledgeable about beautiful Kauai in general, knew all the best ( and most gorgeous) places to take us both on and off the “beaten path” of the North and East Shores. A wonderful health food shack called “Nourish” overlooking one of the most spectacular views in Hanalei. A gorgeous double waterfall in a part of the island seldom seen by visitors. Scott was a great guide who knows Kauai inside out. He showed us a breathtaking array of sights, left room for improvisation based upon our own tastes and what we wanted to do/see, and was very kind -- a wonderful person to spend the day with.
While this experience is on the pricy side, we both agreed that the private aspect of the tour was really worth it (as opposed to being on a bus with a lot of others). That's a significant part of what you're paying for here, so if you decide to do this, take advantage of the fact that you're able to tailor the tour to what you want to see, where you'd like to stop, etc. Highly recommended.

We snuck away for a few days on Kauai and wanted to make sure we saw it all. Scott was a great guide and knew everything about the island. He took us all around and we were able to see some highlights. Highly recommend this tour. First class all the way.

This was a long day in the car. The scenery was amazing but it is a lot of driving to get there. While you have a driver it is not a luxury experience.

Scenic views were beautiful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and history. The lighthouse was worth the visit.
