Mex was great, he was fluent in English and flexible in adding to itinerary. He took us to JR station to buy bullet train tickets. Excellent guide and driver!

We had one full day in Kyoto and this was absolutely worth it to see the best of Kyoto in one day. We had our 16 year old and 7 year old with us, so a family of four. Matsu was our driver and was a good, safe driver and very friendly. The vehicle was nice and comfortable. So convenient to be picked up from the hotel and dropped back to the hotel.

Matsu was a great driver. He suggested and recommended places to go and didn't rush us and always told us to take our time. It was always easy to find him after we were done with our stopover. We never had to wait long.
This excursion was good for us because it was hassle free since we had a driver to take us to the relevant spots in Kyoto and we didn’t need to worry about how to get from place to place. We also liked not having a tour guide follow us around as it gave us more freedom.

This was such a wonderful experience! Mex was so helpful and accommodating. We saw several of the main sites but were able to do it on our own time. He also made recommendations for coffee shops, lunch, and even a drug store run when we had a blister situation. We would highly recommend this as a way to see Kyoto. Thank you for everything!

I do not recommend it.
The driver had limited knowledge of the city, his english was very limited and he forced us to walk wherever the vehicle was parked.

Fuji was very informative, friendly, funny and helpful. He offered terrific advise for touring the venues. I highly recommend him as a guide and driver. This was an amazing tour.

Great locations and way to see Kyoto when you only have a day. We were disappointed in our tour guide, she was nice but offered no real guide or insight about any of the sites we were going to see. We were dropped off and picked up. Our expectation was she would have come with us and explained the sites as we were first time visitors. We could have just hired a taxi.
The lunch spot she picked was fantastic and she was always on time and communicated with us very clearly through what’s app. I hope this improves as Kyoto is a wonderful experience

Matsu was a great guide. He was personable and very prompt. This is not a guided tour by the way. They drive you to the sites and just drop you off - just in case you’re looking for more.
