This is a private sightseeing tour for groups of up to 5 adults and one small child max. Our vehicle is a 2022 silver Honda Odyssey.
We offer free hotel (south and east only), airport, and harbor pick up and drop off.

This tour is offered by a small family owned business that has been operating on Kauai since 2013. Our guides are passionate about sharing their love for Kauai with our visitors, and giving them a fun filled day.

A total of 8 stops will be made, including 4 stops at the famous mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the powerful Spouting horn water geiser, Cooks landing, and charming Hanapepe town. You will enjoy freshly baked goodies at a local bakery, get to choose your own lunch spot from any of recommendations, and have many amazing picture opportunities while you soak in the culture and history of the islands.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Kukui Grove
Get ready to start your day with a local treat; fresh baked goodies. We will take you to one of these bakeries depending on which one is open on the day of your tour, Kauai Bakery or Midnight Bear Bakery.
2. Spouting Horn
This stunning natural beauty is the product of a now extinct volcano; a water blow hole in sunny Poipu, where you will experience the power of nature as the water spouts several feet up in the air, caused by the influx of the ocean waves. On our way there we will drive through the famous Tree tunnel.
3. Hanapepe Valley Lookout
This beautiful verdant valley is the perfect preamble to the Waimea Canyon. It is partially owned by the Robinson family and the home of Jurassic falls. We will stop here for about 5-10 minutes to take pictures.
4. Waimea Canyon State Park
Get ready to marvel at the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the highlight of our day and one of the most beautiful places on kauai. We will be making 4 stops here including the main lookout, Waipo'o Falls and Pu'uhinahina. We will have ample time at each location to take amazing pictures of different angles of the Canyon. Bathroom stops will be available throughout most of the park.
5. Waimea Pier
Take a leisure stroll down the historic Waimea pier built in the mid 1800s during the whaling industry. Here you will get to see Waimea Bay, one of our only black sand beaches and where the first western explorer set foot in Hawaii.
6. Waimea Canyon State Park
Since this is a private tour, you get to choose lunch. We have some wonderful recommendations like Chicken in a Barrel, Kauai Shrimp, Tikki Tacos and Da Booze Shop. All located in the historic Waimea town.
7. Hanapepe
Historic Hanapepe town was revitalized after World War II and turned into an artsy haven. Here you will be able to walk across the swinging bridge that crosses the Hanapepe River, built in 1912, visit art galleries, a very cool and quirky book store, shop for locally made souvenirs and crafts, and if you love Lilo and Stich we have a little surprise. Hanapepe is a charming town that preserves the charm of the old sugar plantation days in its architecture, and laid back vibe.

We had a fabulous day last week with Shasta as our private tour guide. This was our first trip to Kauai (there were 4 adults in our group). She was so sweet and knowledgeable, and showed us things we would never have seen on our own. She knew the best spots to stop and view the canyon, and even found time for a stop at Kauai Coffee. AND she was a great driver - we felt very safe and comfortable in her minivan. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Kauai and we would highly recommend it. We truly enjoyed getting to know her and spend the day with her.

What a wonderful day we had exploring the Waimea Canyon and southern tip of the island!

We feel a tour is the best way to really get to know the area so that you can continue to explore on your own. This tour did not disappoint in any way!

Starting with a tasty treat in Kapaa and seeing some incredible sights at the Waimea Canyon, it was a very full day rich with history & sight seeing.

We loved the swinging bridge in Hanapepe & the Spouting Horn was spectacular!

Shasta was our tour guide & she was exceptional! I would highly recommend her!

Booking a tour with Kauai Soul Travel was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. Opting to go on our first full day on the island worked out beautifully. Our guide, Shasta, not only drove us everywhere but also revealed amazing sights and showcased the most beautiful vistas. Along the way, she entertained us with facts and wonderful conversation. This tour provided us with a comprehensive introduction to the island while showing us sites we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. It allowed us to explore the diverse locales without the hassle of driving, or the frustration of finding parking.

Shasta's recommendations were spot-on -- from shave ice and poke to local food trucks, every suggestion we followed was a hit. Additionally, interacting with Coco over the phone was a delight.

Amazing people with warmth and positive vibes, making our family feel incredibly welcomed. Thanks to them, we've gained memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. A heartfelt thank you to Shasta and Coco!

Tour was awesome! Scenery beautiful! Canyon was amazing. Shasta took us to very nice spot for a delicious lunch and a local bakery for some goodies. Yum
Shasta was the sweetest girl. She knows her history and her island!

Coco and Willow were excellent guides for the day. I had messaged CoCo numerous times before our tour to narrow down what all we would like to see on our tour and she accommodated us greatly. She started our day with sweet treats and continued on to educate our minds and fill our soul with wonderful memories of a beautiful island. She ask ahead of time if he sweet Frenchton Willow could come along and she was the sweetest girl!! Fun day and would highly recommend!

Shasta was an amazing guide!!! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and was able to answer all of our questions. She took us to some great spots and she made sure we got lots of family photos. Shasta went above and beyond on our tour and we couldn’t ask for a better guide! She asked about of interests and tailored the tour to our interests. Great personal touch!
