First time ever in a helicopter for either of us. Felipe was an AWESOME pilot and we were quickly comfortable and loving it. He took us everywhere, and we filled up our phones with incredible pictures of valleys, beaches, the coast, a thousand waterfalls and several rainbows including a 360 degree one! He made sure we got the shot! I'd go again every time! Also for a bigger guy (260 lbs with clothes and camera) they have a higher weight limit on the private tour! AND have a much longer trip at 1:15!

This was an incredible tour. The office staff was very friendly and the pilot was awesome - he provided a more extensive safety briefing than any other helicopter tour I've done. They do book up farther out than others companies I looked at, so make sure you book far enough in advance. Also schedule for earlier in your trip, that way if it gets cancelled for weather you have a better chance of being rebooked.
I also really enjoyed the Robinson R-44 helicopter, which allowed for more maneuvering and for photography, the blades sit higher off the top of the helicopter so it's much easier to get shots without the blades in the shot. Plus, there are only 3 passenger seats (one up front with the pilot and two in the back) and really, if you take more than just yourself the cost isn't much more than the other "regular" i.e. not private tours.
As the title of my review says, I would do this again and again - it will never get old. I must've taken 600 images, attached are just a few of them. They will be going on my wall as very large prints!

Words can not describe how amazing the doors off helicopter tour with Ali’i Kauai Air Tours was. Our pilot Felipe explained everything and helped put us at ease. It was by far the most exciting adventure we had while visiting Kaua’i. I highly recommend this!

After the Hawaii trip was finally booked, a helicopter flight was a must. It quickly became clear that it would be a flight along the Naples Coast. As a further criterion, we then decided on a flight without doors. This made the choice of providers manageable.
We then decided on Ali'i Air Tours and - just to be clear - we did not regret this decision! We were greeted very warmly and informed about the process. We then drove to the helicopter on time and took a few more photos.
The flight itself was exciting and absolutely entertaining. Our experienced pilot Stuart gave us many spectacular views of the island. We also flew close to mountain edges and waterfalls and marveled at this incredible coast. In relaxed conversations, we were provided with lots of information about the island, the helicopter and the individual sights.
When we then landed again - after about 80 minutes - we were a little sad that it was already over...
Overall, an incredibly beautiful experience and absolutely recommendable! Since only two passengers can fit in the helicopter, it is a truly private experience.

If you are on vacation on Kaua‘I and would like to experience sth really special, book the mentioned Helicopter flight with Ali‘I Tours.
My wife and I travel a lot, but haven‘t seen anything else like the Nāpali Coast so far.
Our pilot James showed us secret places, explained anything around the history of Kaua‘I and even had a special playlist for this trip to make ourexperience even more special for us… honestly I had tears in my eyes because of this combination…10/10 points
