We had a wonderful day sailing with Cancun Sailing on March 12,2024. From the reservation agent, Sofia, to the check-in agents, to the wonderful crew, everything was amazing. We booked a private boat as we had a group of 38 people. The snorkeling was a good time, and from there the party began. The drinks were flowing all day, the food that we ordered on board was great, we were allowed to play our own music through their BT system, and the crew was awesome. Isla Mujeres was a lot of fun also. I highly recommend this company for your Cancun excursions.

We chartered a private tour for four people. Experience was amazing. The crew were wonderful and attentive to our needs. We were able to change up things based on our preferences. More than anything it was relaxing, having just us on the boat we would go by boats with 25-40 people on them and ours looked so much more relaxing. The cost of the private charter was about three times that of paying for all four of us. But worth every dime. We went snorkeling, to the island for lunch, and then sailed Isla Mujeres towards Cancun. If you have a decent size group, consider a private charter. It will be a memorable experience.

The catamaran was clearly overbooked and there was not enough seating for the passengers. Many had to stand or had to sit in the netting. The sailing was not halted due to bad weather. Many who got dry after the seaweed filled stinky isla mojeres beaches got drenched from the torrential cold windy rain storm that we couldn't escape as there was not enough room under cover. Kids were scared, crying, cold and hungry as the buffet was absolute garbage. Beans and rice with tortilla chips was their best options.. save your time and money. Go to something on the mainland.

This was a fantastic day on a private boat! We were picked up from our resort and driven to the docks. Yvette was our main guide on the Megeira for a group of just under 40 people. We went snorkeling in a beautiful coral reef, Yvette told us about all the different fish we were seeing and it was such a blast! Could've spent all day floating around in there. The boat ride to Isla Mujeres was fun, the island itself was crazy busy but that makes sense - we were only there for an hour so it went by quickly. On our way back we had a quick stop to jump off the side/back of the boat, this time without snorkel gear, that was another highlight. Overall great day and incredible service by all on board!

The Good News:
Like most vacation excursions I have been on; it’s organized chaos but somehow it works out. The crew worked extremely hard to make everyone comfortable and kept the drinks flowing. Once we reached the lagoon in Isla Mujeres, we had a nice individual wrapped lunch plate. Sandwich, pasta, chips, cookie. Pro tip, once on the island, have a plan what you will do, you will have about 3 hrs of exploring. Pickup/dropoff service in clean black Mercedes van was nice.
Not so good:
Not sure about the luxury part that is advertised in the Delta airline brochure and the meeting place at Imperial Las Perlas hotel. You will be standing around 45min to an hour (no place to sit) trying to load up everyone on the different boat tours. On board photographer prices are crazy.

The crew on the Megaira boat were amazing, friendly, and fun! They interacted with the guest very well and I definitely see myself recommending them and coming back.
