WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Gran Aventura
Great Adventure combines in a single trip the very essence of Iguazu National Park: the jungle and the waterfalls. Departing from the Operative Center or from the Visitors’ Center, we shall enter the jungle by the Yacaratiá trail in trucks specially designed for this environment. Bilingual guides (Spanish and English) will introduce the place’s natural and cultural resources. This 5 kms long stretch ends at Puerto Macuco. At its dock, visitors shall board on the boats that shall be sailing in the Lower Iguazu River for as long as 6 kms, heading towards the waterfalls area, enjoying plentiful rapids. Upon reaching the Tres Mosqueteros Fall, visitors shall be able to see the falls of both the Argentine and Brazilian sides crowned by the view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Afterwards, the most exciting point comes when facing the incomparable San Martín waterfall, the second in dimension and the hugest any boat may face. After that we’ll navigate 6km down river until Puerto Macuco from where, after walking up hill 150 mts we’ll ride the trucks 6Km back to our Operative Center. Duration 2:15 Hs. 2. Garganta del Diablo
The Devil's Throat is a set of waterfalls 80 m high that are detached towards a narrow gorge, which concentrates the largest flow of the Iguazu Falls, being in turn these waterfalls the highest flow in the world. At midday, follow your guide to the food center and enjoy a little rest and lunch (own expense) before taking the train to the Garganta del Diablo Station, further into the forest. Garganta del Diablo (The Devil's Throat) is the biggest fall in Iguazu, and the catwalks take you right on top of it! Be surprised and amazed by the strength and volume of water, which creates a permanent fog above the fall.
3. Cataratas del Iguazu - Lado Argentino
Full Day excursion: Daily departures at 07:30 a.m. returning at 04:00 p.m. The schedule is subject to slightly changes depending on hotel location. It includes round trip and professional tour guide. Park entrance fee is included. Devil's Throat Circuit The astonishing beauty and energy of the sight thrill everyone, an exciting mixture of views and sounds. Not to be missed! Difficulty: no stairs. Upper circuit Magnificent panoramic views of the smaller falls and islands of the Iguazu River delta. Difficulty: no stairs. Puerto Iguazú is a city in the province of Misiones, in the extreme northeast of Argentina. This town is located 17 km from the Iguazu Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

The Iguazú National Park covers an area of subtropical forest of the Argentine province of Misiones, on the border with Brazil. Inside the park, on the Iguazú river, the famous Iguazú waterfalls include numerous waterfalls, such as the emblematic Garganta del Diablo. The surrounding park hosts a wide variety of wildlife, such as coatis, jaguars and toucans, as well as trails and viewpoints

• Important Note: Comfortable clothes and shoes, and insect repellent are highly recommended for all tours and excursions.

This was an amazing adventure. The tour guide and drivers were excellent. Everything exceeded our expectations. The waterfalls were extraordinary and we are so happy we booked this tour. Seeing the waterfalls from the upper and lower trails and then on the thrilling boat ride is the best experience. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole tour was great from the pickup at our hotel by Ferdinand, the plane ride and pickup by our guide, Micaela and the return. Having Micaela guide us through the park was incredible. She was very knowledgeable and guided us flawlessly through. We would have wasted so much time had we tried to tour the park on our own. The boat ride is a must! Get a fabulous up vlose and personal view of the falls-warning you will get soaked! Then touring the various trails and catwalks was also fantastic. There was nothing about this tour we didn’t like.

You purchase your tickets once you are inside the Argentinian side of the falls park. You have to listen to the guides hanging around the ticket booth, and receive their invitation to join the queue. And then get to the pick-up point at your allotted hour. But from then on, the organisation is fairly efficient; there's an open bus ride through the jungle to get to the embarkation point, with multilingual commentary. You get given a waterproof bag for your gear as you descend to the boat. You do get drenched, so wear a swim suit and put all your day clothes and shoes in the bag. The boat trip is exciting and fun. There is the option to buy photos and videos from the boat cameraman. Overall it was expensive but excellent!

Our guide picked us up from the airport and stayed with us the whole day, she was very friendly and spoke fairly good English, she told us about the history of the falls so we can learn about the park and the animals that live in there, we even saw one or two of them.
The falls is beautiful even though we saw it in a rainy day, I am sure it will be even more stunning if it was not raining. It was a trip that well worth seeing if you are in Argentina.

We were collected from our hotel and taken to the airport for flight to Iguazu.At Iguazu, we were met by Hector our English speaking guide and a driver who took us to the Falls National Park. Hector was a fantastic guide - he was so informative and helpful along the way making sure we went at a pace that we could cope with. We did upper and lower walk to see the Falls from different directions. We saw Toucans in the trees. Then we did the boat to the Falls- an amazing experience to get up close and very wet!! Hector was waiting for us after the jeep ride from the boat and knew a good place to change clothes etc before return to the airport for flight back. We were met at BA airport again and taken back to the hotel . An amazing day - thank you so much Hector.

Excellenr tour, Laura was amazing! everything went as planned. The only recommendation is that if the Devil's mouth is closed (as it was for me) there is no need to take the 5am flight from Buenos Aires, you can at least do 7am.

The falls are spectacular. Our guide Israël is very good. He takes the time to explain. The boat tour is interesting to approch the falls but the shower that goes with it is not that fun. We had a great day.

This place is a must!!! Maga our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly! We laughed the entire time and made cultural comparisons, which taught me so much about the culture! She was so willing to take the pictures and explain everything! Now about the place, OMG!!! It’s MAGESTIC!!! Such an amazing experience! I completely recommend this tour and if you do it, ask for Magali!! Thank me later 😁
