I love discussing England past & present with my guests while we journey to Windsor in my Mercedes. We can talk about the castle itself, or any other aspect of our long history that may interest you, from the Norman Conquest to the Battle of Britain.
As well as showing the treasures on view, I like to illustrate further aspects of the history of this ancient place by sharing materials I have prepared via my tablet, talking guests through the history personally, although audio guides are also available for state rooms & St Georges Chapel.
In St Georges Chapel we encounter the wonder of England's gothic masterpiece, soak up the indefinable atmosphere that a space with so much history creates, and stand on the tombs of some of the mightiest Kings of England. After catching the changing of the guard we can wander along the north terrace, gaze across the Thames to Eton before you take in the splendours of the State rooms and St Georges Hall .

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever had! Our amazing tour guide Mark made it easy on my parents and me (in our jet-lagged state) by picking us up from our hotel in his luxurious private car. He went on to share so much knowledge with us en route to Windsor. When we got there we watched the changing of the guards — it was all perfectly timed! Once inside the grounds Mark accompanied us through St. George’s and the estate rooms, providing us with a wealth of historical information to digest at our leisurely pace. The day flew by and really couldn’t have gone any better! If you have a chance to take this tour you won’t regret it. In fact, it’s sure to be a highlight of your London travels. We will be recommending to all our family and friends for future visits. Thank you so much Mark!

Really enjoyable visit with my older mother and college aged daughter. Initially a slight snag as booked with another family ( which would have been fine), Went above and beyond to accommodate us and make it all work. Ended up having a private tour after all, Had. friendly sweet driver ( Walter) who was very kind. Has a wonderfully pleasant and knowledgable guide ( Sian) who we enjoyed so much. She gave so much information not just about history, the castle and the times but shared much about present times in England. We just had a wonderful visit and day. Thanks so much . Would unreservedly recommend

We just got done having the most amazing day with Mark! Absolutely hilarious and so knowledgeable! We toured Windsor Castle then made our way around town. My wife and I will definitely make sure to use Mark when we come back to London!!

My family and I had a wonderful time with Mark. He was very knowledgeable and moved through the castle at our speed. We enjoyed spending the day with him. (And that includes my teenagers). I highly recommend Mark for this or other tours!!!

This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Mark is an amazing driver and guide. He is very knowledgeable. He was great with my 17y.o. and 15y.o. He answered all of our questions and really brought the castle to life. I would highly recommend this tour. We look forward to visiting England again and having Mark as our guide on future adventures.

Mark was a excellent and informative guide for our tour at Windsor Castle. Probably the best tour of our trip.Highly recommend and will definitely use him again when we are back. Going to check out what other Timescape tours has to offer

My wife and I had a great day with Mark. He is extremely knowledgeable and we had a great time with him before during and after our Windsor castle tour. Having someone walk through the grounds with us definitely added to the experience and gave me the feeling that I didn’t miss anything. I will definitely do another tour with Mark the next time we are in London.
