We had the best day with Andres doing the golden circle tour. He was SO knowledgeable and gave us all of the coolest, most interesting information that I absolutely didn’t hear on my trip in previous years with one of the big tour bus companies.
He let us work off our own schedule and spend longer in some places, and shorter in others which was amazing.
His car was clean, brand new and so so comfy, and his driving was safe and I felt extremely comfortable and in good hands. He also took great pictures for us!!!

Andres is knowledgeable, funny, respectful and accommodating. May be the best tour I ever went on. We were smiling the whole time. He patiently took photos. He even took me to a local gem wool store. We had a magical time. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our day trip around the Golden circle very much. Anders is a well-seasoned and experienced guide, and he is easy company! Sadly, we were not blessed with the brightest weather, so photos are a bit dull, but the day was both informative and enjoyable.

Much better to have a private guide like Andreas. Set your own time etc. He was a welcome change to group tours.

Andres was a great guide. He was attentive, personable, and knowleable with a sense of humor. He catered to our needs and wants. He avoided crowds and long walks.

Andres was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and we had great conversations in the car. As we were on a cruise ship, he adjusted the start time so that we could leave earlier and do everything that we had wanted to do, while getting us back to the ship in plenty of time. I would highly recommend booking with Mercury Grail for your Iceland excursion!

Andres was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about Iceland and the area, and we had great discussions in the car during the drive. As we were on a cruise ship, he was very respectful of our time, both with pick-up and with the end, to make sure that we got back to the ship on time. - Communication upfront was super easy and the pickup went well.
- It was the perfect tour to see and experience as much as possible in one day.

As usual, everything stands and falls with the Tour Guide - Andreas was the best guide I ever had so far.
He made it super enjoyable and exciting day for us - I feel super happy and lucky that we booked this trip with him.
There was never any feeling of time pressure. We had the time as we wanted to spend on each spot. Andres is a truly kind and smart person with the right sense of humour combined with valuable knowledge to share.
We had great talks and learned about the history and current situations of Iceland - we gained great insights, and it was simply perfect to get to know the country.
Thank you for that amazing day, full of joy, knowledge sharing and fun!
I will for sure book my next tour with Andres again once I travel to Iceland for the second time.

The personal exchange about culture, heritage, politics, Saga, etc., while driving from one Spot to another. Laughing, debating, explaining and listening without time pressure, no inconvinience - just going with the flow! Andres made this day to a very exciting day. All wishes, even not talked about, turned to reality. Watching Geysirs, waterfalls, hiking to Crater, swimming in the lagoon, eating, drinking, talking, all day long was worth each single penny. Andres thank you for the great experience. Learned and seen a lot!
