Discover two major attractions, in a day trip, around Paris: the home and gardens of the « Master of Impressionism » and the Estate of the « Sun King », Louis XIV. The two destinations are a must for anyone visiting Paris, representing the Zenith of France’s greatest artistic movements.
Made famous for the atmosphere and untamed beauty of Monet's Gardens with the iconic Japanese bridge and lilly ponds, you will discover Giverny Village before lunch at the well known “Moulin de Fourges”. Then you will see Louis XIV’s breathtaking Hall of Mirrors and discover the magnificence of Versailles in the company of a Licenced Guide.

Isabelle was SO knowledgeable - we learned so much during our day together. She knew exactly how to guide us through the large crowd at Versailles and made sure we could see everything, hear everything, and could get great pictures. We loved the morning with her at Monet’s garden too!

Isabelle, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. She was an excellent driver. Giverny’s gardens are beautiful and the house interesting. Versailles is opulent. Our lunch stop was charming. My only complaint is the crowding as we walked through Versailles.

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel by Olivier we knew we were in for a treat. He was so kind and thoughtful and to top it off he was extremely knowledgeable about French history and the two places we visited. We picked up another couple at Paris Trip and off we went. How wonderful to be a group of 4. We love Monet and what a wonderful treat to see his wonderful gardens and his home. Monet said, "My greatest masterpiece is my garden." and it was amazing. We loved walking through the charming town of Giverny and visiting the church and cemetery where Monet was buried. The lunch at Moulin de Fourges was a wonderful surprise--the setting was gorgeous and the food was amazing!! Then off to Versailles. Olivier was so so well versed about the grounds, palace and the history of the place but also of France that we were thrilled. Also great that we avoided most of the lines and crowds. It is a long day but well worth it! We would recommend both this tour and Olivier to anyone who is interested. It was a totally amazing day!!

Giverny was beautiful, lunch was wonderful and Versailles was amazing! Tour guide Kevin was great. Worth every penny. Hotel pickup made it a completely stress free day to enjoy the excursion. Would have loved to stay longer at both locations but distance just did not allow. Would have liked to know a little more history on Giverny and countryside we passed through while traveling to locations.
