2. Girona
Head to the first destination of the day, the historical city of Girona, where the relics of its Roman and medieval past coexist with the present, offering an image full of contrasts. Wander along its labyrinth of narrow streets and to travel back in time to the best preserved Jewish district of Europe.
3. Patronat Call de Girona
Within the Old Force of the city, stroll down the Jewish Quarter, one of the most emblematic spaces. Get lost in a maze of alleyways and patios that keep the aura of medieval times. It is one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in the world and an evident example of the importance of the Jewish culture in Girona.
4. Girona Cathedral
In the Força Vella, the Old Force, admire the Girona Cathedral, located at the highest point of the city. Built between the 11th and 19th centuries, it includes various walls and spaces in different architectural styles, from a Romanesque monastery to a Baroque façade. Its most striking feature is the large Gothic nave which, with a width of 22 meters (72 ft), is the largest of its kind in the world.
5. Onyar River
Marvel the colorful façades of the houses on the shores of the Onyar River that flows through the city and engenders this warm atmosphere of colored houses and symbolic image of Girona. You will enjoy various and beautiful panoramic views, either from the various bridges that cross Onyar river or from the top of the medieval walls of the city.
6. Eiffel Bridge (Pont de les Peixateries Velles)
One of the bridges was designed by the famous Gustave Eiffel in 1877. The modern feel of the ironclad Eiffel Bridge contrasts sharply with the old buildings of the city.
7. Village Medieval de Pals
Before heading the Costa Brava, make a stop in the peaceful nature of Pals. The ancient medieval town of Pals, once a fortress, is full of idyllic cobblestone streets and squares. From its towers and viewpoints, enjoy the best views of the Mediterranean Sea. Admire Pals' beautiful green fields, the plains of the Empordà that stretch on the horizon.
8. Playas de Calella
Contemplate the greenery of the mountains, the steep relief of the coast and the small villages of whitewashed houses. Make a stop in Calella de Palafrugell, a small and traditional fishing village that still remains very charismatic, before exploring the surroundings.
9. Cami de Ronda
Not far away Calella, take the opportunity to discover the less explored nooks of the region thanks to the Caminos de Ronda, an old route used by fishermen, guards and smugglers. From the most popular beaches in the area to the most inaccessible caves and cliffs. To finish your day in beauty, take the opportunity to dive in the crystal clear waters, before to go straight back to your accommodation in Barcelona.

Miquel was an outstanding tour guide; he was knowledgeable, funny and very attentive to our group. The visits to Girona and Pals were incredible and lunch in Calella facing the beach was fantastic! Very pleased with the experience and, if ever back in Barcelona, will definitely want to book a tour with Miquel!

Wonderful experience! Our guide Ventura was an amazing tour guide, super friendly and he knows a lot of interesting historic facts about the area. He made us all feel really comfortable. We had a great time, food was delicious, views were incredible. I definitely recommended.

I had the most phenomenal private tour of Costa bravo with Ventura. He picked us up in Barcelona and we made our way up the Costa Brava. Our first stop was a Pritzker architectural award winning winery. Then we were on to the town of Port Lligat to view Dali‘s home by the sea. What a joy to see where he created such great art. As we headed back down the Costa Brava towards Barcelona, we stopped at the most magnificent gardens, Jardi Botanic de Cap Roig. Ventura filled our days with expert knowledge, laughter, and adventure.

The tour to Girona and Costa Brava was fabulous. The tour guide, Senny, was amazing! He was knowledgeable of the history and traditions of the area, and made the tour fun and interactive. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to get out and see medieval cities and a beautiful coastal town.

Senny was one of the best guides I have ever - he was extremely knowledgeable about the history, took us to an amazing "farmhouse" lunch, and he was so personable and even quite humorous.

The four of us were thrilled with our day trip/tour led by Senny. Not only was he fluent and well-versed on history and current affairs, but he shared the information with such good humor that we were enchanted. He is a natural story-teller! In addition, our small group was charmed by the lovely sites we took us too, including a magical, almost hidden luncheon site. His tour has been the highlight of our trip! Ask for Senny to be your guide!

Our driver and tour guide, Ventora, was amazing. We had a fun and informative adventure exploring Girona. Not only did he point out local history along the way, he shared how some of the Game of Thrones was filmed on location. He left plenty of extra time for exploring on our own before heading to Costa Brava. We had plenty of beach time to collect beach treasures and dip our feet into the Mediterranean. Our lunch spot overlooked the ocean and was arranged by our host. After some gelato and a few more scenic photos we met up with Ventora for our trip back to Barcelona. If you get a chance I would request Ventura. He is a great driver, tour guide, fun, and made sure all our needs were met!
