My wife and I were on holiday in Cape Town and signed up for this experience. We typically do a group wine tours when traveling so the “executive” experience was new to us. Needless to say, it didn’t disappoint. Our guide, Louw, was very knowledgeable about the area and went out of his way to tailor it to our preferences. Would definitely do it again!

Colleen was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about her wines. The wineries ranged from very nice to spectacular. Tokara should not be missed. The staff at each location were nice and not pushy about selling their wines. The wines were really nice, some exceptional. Recommended!

Our guide's, Louw, knowledgeable and welcoming approach made our tour wonderful. The scenery, wine and friendliness of every wine farm visited is exceptional and makes for an amazing day out. It had a nice variety of large and smaller farms, architecture and setting. We highly recommend.

This was an exceptional tour and was one of the highlights of our South Africa trip. We visited 4 stunning wineries where we sampled excellent wines and had a delicious lunch at the very scenic Tokara Estate. The day passed by so quickly as we were enjoying it so much.
It was a pleasure to chat with our guide John about the wines and South Africa in general. He was extremely knowledgeable and he definitely added to our experience. We could not have asked for a better guide.
We found the tour to be excellent value for money and could not recommend this tour more highly! Get it booked - you will not regret it!!

When Delta delayed our flight for 13 hours, we knew that we wanted to have a full day private wine experience and booked with Wine Escapes. Everything from the first communication, to the pick up, to the wine tours, to an impeccable lunch, to the rich conversation to the drop off was outstanding.
Our guide Louw was amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind, funny, interesting, and committed to providing us with a superb experience. We enjoyed our conversation with him so much that we asked him to join us for lunch at an excellent restaurant with stunning views, Glenelly.
Not only did we have an opportunity to try delicious wines at small boutique estates, we learned an incredible about the region and the culture leaving us with a thirst to learn more. Louw was not only a fabulous guide, he became a friend in just a few short hours.

The wine tour was incredible. Our driver and guide, Lo was wonderful. We had kids with us and Lo took us to wineries with plenty of green space to play and enjoy the gorgeous weather. Lunch al fresco with the best views. Flexible schedule. Highly recommend. 5 stars. Thank you for helping us celebrate in ZA!

Fantastically fun and educational wine tour. John was amazing and tailored the day to suit our needs and wine preferences. Would certainly recommend the cheese pairings as well. We will be back!

We did the tour with Martin Stevens. The Wine Tour was very nice, with lots of information on beautiful and very different wine yards. Hard to say about a favorite, because every wine yard had somerhing special. A beautiful day with a really nice tour guide. We can recommend this tour and would do it again.
