WHAT TO EXPECT

1. New Delhi
Our driver will reach at your hotel, airport, railway station (or other desired pickup location in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram) to pick you up and start the tour
2. Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid)
Jama Masjid, also known as the Friday Mosque, this architectural wonder made of red sandstone can hold around 25,000 people at one go. Built by emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest and the most splendid mosque in India. Visitors must wear traditional clothes and remove their shoes before entering the mosque.

Enjoy Amazing Rikshaw Ride in Old Delhi, during Rikshaw Ride you will see Famous jalebi wala (Est. 1884), Shish Ganj Gurudwara (Pass By), Naguri Chai in Chandni Chok, Spice Market, China Ram a famous Halwai (Confectioner) of old Delhi, Parathe Wali Gali (Food Street) Via Moti bazar , Kinari Market etc.
4. Chandni Chowk
Chandni Chowk, Shahjahanabad’s (old Delhi) main drag, this ancient bazaar is sure to knock you sideways with its mind-boggling array of eating places and shops selling clothes, shawls, footwear, jewellery, handicrafts, electronics, and whatnot. This bazaar dating back to the Mughal era is ideal for a hasty souvenir binge before you head home.

Dive into the riot of colours at Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest spice market in old Delhi. This market as old as the 17th century encompasses hundreds of shops selling local and exotic spices from around the country. Witness huge sacks filled with black salt, tamarind, turmeric, red chilies, and nutmeg lined across the narrow streets.
6. Red Fort
Housing the Mughals for nearly two centuries, the Red Fort took almost ten years to build. Listed one among the UNESCO World Heritage sites, this colossal sandstone structure features excellent Islamic architecture. An eminent historic hotspot, each year on Republic Day the Prime Minister of India hoists the Tricolor from its glorious ramparts.
7. Agrasen Ki Baoli - Leamigo
A remarkable monument to discover, Agrasen ki Baoli dates back to the 14th century. Characterizing around 103 steps descending to the bottom, the rare beauty of this step-well is sure to set your eyes reeling. During your trip, you might just get lucky to hear some eerie stories related to this place.
8. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Spot the onion-shaped domes shining in the sun of this marvellous Sikh shrine (gurdwara) made out of glistening white marble. Carrying immense religious significance this spot is swarmed by countless devotees around the year. It is said that the water of the large water tank set in its premises possesses healing powers.
9. India Gate
This 42m high imposing stone memorial in the shape of a massive arch was designed by Lutyens back in 1921. Built-in the memory of around 90,000 Indian Army soldiers, this monument pays tribute to the Bravehearts who lost their lives during World War I, Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War.
10. Parliament House
One of the most captivating landmarks in the capital city of India, Parliament House, also known as the Sansad Bhavan is an epic spot to witness. In the year 1947, this building was the place where Britain handed over the powers to the newly independent India. Visitors are not allowed inside.

Also known as the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President’s House is a plush building encompassing 2.5km of corridors, 340 rooms, a dome shape Durbar Hall, an intriguing presidential library, and a captivating Ashoka Hall. There are several other lavish areas surrounding the President's House that are worth witnessing.

The National Museum stands as a bastion of India's rich cultural heritage and history. Its extensive collection spans over 5,000 years, showcasing art, artifacts, and archaeological treasures from across the country. Visitors explore diverse exhibits, from ancient civilizations to modern Indian art, in this captivating institution.

Gandhi Smriti, is a poignant memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Indian nation. Formerly known as Birla House, it's where Gandhi spent his last 144 days and was tragically assassinated in 1948. The museum preserves his life, teachings, and the room where he lived.
14. Lotus Temple
popular as Bahai House of Worship, this tranquil place of worship is constructed in the form of a lotus flower. Aimed to bring various faiths together, this masterpiece was designed in the year 1986 by Fariborz Sahba, an Iranian-Canadian architect. Visitors can enter the temple to offer prayers or can meditate silently.
15. Qutub Minar
This towering Afghan-style victory minaret is unmissable. Sultan Qutb-ud-din proclaimed his supremacy over the defeated rulers of Qila Rai Pithora by erecting this 73m high structure. The tower has five storeys and projecting balconies. The intricate bands made of sandstone encircling the tower bear verses from the holy book of Quran.

We had a wonderful day with Lucky, our guide, today. We visited many monuments and memorials and saw so much more than we expected to. Lucky provided lots of information and stories of both history and culture. The rickshaw ride was so much fun and the driver kept us very safe through the crowded and narrow streets of Old Delhi. Lunch was fabulous and gave us a taste of a variety of Indian dishes. Our day was well planned by Lucky and was flexible to meet our needs. Lucky is extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour so we highly recommend him as a guide. Our driver, Vivek, was excellent, picking us up on time and engaging in interesting conversation as we drove through the busy traffic in Delhi. We felt very safe with Vivek driving and he provided excellent customer service. We loved this full day tour and it was a great introduction to Old and New Delhi as well as to India more broadly, for us.

The driver and the guide were good. I just felt I little bit rushed… also the visit at Gurudawa site was ommited even if it is part of the itinerary. The guide made me choose 2 from 3 site than Gurudawa was forgotten. It was a little bit rushed overall…

The drivers name, car registration etc... Our driver was great Ashwani- friendly and helpful. our tour guide was also very nice and informative. the Lunch was great too exceeded my expectations.

Had the most fantastic time with Amit and driver (apologies can’t remember driver’s name) Amit was very knowledgeable and amenable. Was great with the young children and made their experience of the tour memorable and fun. Cannot recommend enough.
