Full day tour to see the highlights of the ancient West Bank and East Bank monuments in Luxor. 1. Valley of the Kings
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in central Luxor or harbor by an air-conditioned vehicle for a full guided trip of about 8 hours. First you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses,lV the Tomb of Ramseslll, the Tomb of Merenptah .Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor.
2. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut)
Entrance fees to the tomb of Tutankhamun (300.00 EGP) (optional) King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings
3. Tomb of Ramses III
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity,the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’
4. Tomb of Merenptah
In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .
5. Tomb of Ramses IV
The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.
6. Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. 7. Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt, which date back to the era of King Amenhotep III.
8. Temple of Karnak
Karnak Temple , you visit what is considered to be one of the world's greatest architectural masterpieces, namely the complex of Karnak Temples on the East Bank of Luxor. Karnak is a complex of temples built in different reigns, starting with the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis I, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. 13. Avenue of Sphinxes
Avenue of Shoinxes ,Spectacular avenue stretched from Luxor to Karnak, a distance of 3 kms. Today, its only a few hundred metres long but its very impressive.this avenue used to conect the Karnak templo and the Luxor templo.A six miles avenue with sphinxes in both sides of it.

When I say this was the best part of my time in Egypt I mean it. Such beauty, such culture, amazing people, and overall an amazing experience. Our tour guide was Abdul and he is very knowledgeable, he has the accreditation and such charisma. He was very friendly and had me engaged the whole tour. I came out very knowledgeable from this trip and honestly feels as if I met a new friend. Highly recommended

We had such a great day with Abdul! Hands down one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met on the subject of Egypt. His passion and love for all things Egypt is one of the best things about him. He is so easy to get along with and I guarantee you will end the day knowing more than you ever thought you would about the history of Egypt. Abdul and Ramadan (our driver) were on time and friendly. Abdul truly felt like family by the end of the day. If you’re going to Luxor, book this tour and ask for Abdul! You won’t regret it.

We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Hamdi. We arrived 40 minutes late due to our previous tour running over however Hamdi was a true gentleman and didnt mind. Not only was he very knowledgeable but he was so hospitable and always ensured we had refreshments and if we wanted to purchase something he took us where we got the best price. We learned so much history and we loved the valley of the kings and payed extra for king tuts tomb which I highly recommend. Luxor temple was also a must see as was hatshepsut temple. Overall great day

Awesome tour! We were picked up in a SUV from our hotel. The driver and our guide Ragab are very good English speakers. Ragab also knows a lot about Egyptian history and Luxor in general. Even lunch is great. Don't hesitate to book this tour.

I have been traveling with my wife the last 30 days, we where in paris, madrid, rome, firenze, athens, santorini and over 10 different places… and from all the tours and experiences i took, this tour Raj gave us was the most complete (he knows a lot), amazing and professional we had, we went to see many wonders and visited the best shops around with genuine stuff at incredible prices and at the end we had an amazing meal… i would tell anyone that comes to luxor, that this is the tour you must take. Ragab was an excellent tour guide!
He’s extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history so we learned a lot on this tour.
After an explanation of what we were seeing at each stop, we were given plenty of time to wander on our own and we never felt rushed.
He took us to a great lunch at his favorite local restaurant on the West bank which gave us a great sense of how the locals live.

Hamdee, our private tour guide, was amazing. He's very knowledgeable. We've learned so much from him. His temperament is about right too. In general, some tour guides are too energetic and assertive. Some of them bombard you with too much information without checking your pace. But Hamdee is very considerate to our needs. He has a great sense of what we want and how we feel. I highly recommend this tour and its guide.

An incredible private full-day tour with Abdul! After doing a lot of research and reading previous reviews, I requested a tour with Abdul. At the time, I didn’t realize the day we requested was Eid and Abdul gave up his day with his family to provide our tour, given we personally requested him. The day was nothing shy of amazing. Abdul is a guide, Egyptologist and part of the restoration team at one of the temples. It is evident he is passionate about his craft. He educated us throughout the day and was incredibly accommodating including adding an additional temple and boat ride into the day. My wife and I learned so much about ancient Egypt and it was a special day.
