I will tell you this was a highlight of my trip to Lisbon. I live near wine country in California and this tour exceeded my expectations. First of all, Pedro, my tour guide, was the best in every respect. The pacing of the tour, the sites we visited along the way, the wineries we visited, and the local restaurants we went to were all top notch. Everything was perfection, relaxed and great quality. And Pedro is a fun and great guy so we talked about everything along the way. Even the rain in the afternoon didn’t dampen our spirits. And the tours at the wineries were exceptional— as if I was a VIP. THANK YOU to all and Pedro for an experience that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately the wine will not! :)

Would highly recommend this trip! It is so much more than just wine tasting. Our guide, Andre was brilliant. He made this trip very personal and was extremely knowledgeable. The scenery was stunning and is was great to see this beautiful part of Portugal.

The trip started off amazing! Riu was precisely on time and he made our trip special from the start with all of his knowledge of Lisbon. He then took us to a fantastic market with fresh seafood, desserts. He even gave us recommendation of his favorite desserts. He then took us to the natural park allowed us time to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. From there two different winery tastings. We also had an amazing lunch with fresh caught grilled fish. To finish off he tour, Riu brought us his favorite desserts as a thank you! Overall 10/10, would book again and recommend this to anyone wanting to explore outside of Lisbon!

The day before our tour we received a message from Andre Marquez informing who was going to be our tour guide- Pedro Ferrador.
The day of our tour, Pedro was there on time, and introduce himself with a smile and so respectful! He inmediately explained to us what the tour was going to include, but asked us if we were OK if he took 3 other tourists with us so he could drop them at the meeting point for their tour in Castelo de Sesimbra. (that was very considerate of him), and we said yes... When we got there it was such a beautiful place! So, when we asked him if we could go around he gave us a "crash tour" and we were able to see and learn of the Castle , the Igreja de Santa Maria do Castelo and even the cementery!!Oh, and we had one of the best expressos with a cake ( I/m not sure if it was a torrada (sorry Pedro I can't remember the name )
After enjoying our coffee, Pedro took us to the Villa Fresca de Azeita where we met such a great craftsman and such a gentleman! His name is George- he explained and showed us the whole process of how the tiles are made. Then, after that Pedro took us to the first winery- Quinta de Catralvos where they showed us the process of how the wines are elaborated and gave us a taste of 5 different wimes!!! Oh, my God.. They were all delicious!!!.
Pedro then took us to a restaurant- I honestly don't remember the name probably due to all the wine I had before- but I do remember the food... DELICIOUS!!. After lunch we went to another winery- Bacalhoa-WInes of Portugal- which was another great experience... And, even when our tour was over, Pedro stoped outside the Quinta de Anjo where he explained in detail how the cork is taken from the trees..
I just have to say that this tour was our favorite of all the tours we took in Lisbon! Pedro was such a gentleman, so reachable, so respectful, always willing to clarify doubts and so knowledgeable of your history... and never in a hurry which made us feel at ease from beginning to end of the tour!!!
But, the most important thing I would like to say, on behalf of me and my family is that with Pedro we felt at home, visiting a relative in Lisbon... He went 200 extra miles to please us, and boy he sure did!!He exceeded our expectations!
One last thing: Pedro you will always have a special place in our hearts! We'll see you again when we go back to Lisbon, promised!!

Communication in advance was excellent. We we're picked up at our hotel in Lisbon right on time by Pedro and driven by ca to Setubar with another very nice couple also from the USA. Pedro shared knowledge to and from Setubal and the car rides were almost as fun as the tour itself. He even made an additional stop to show us some artwork and a cork tree.
Once in Setubal we met or own your guide Andy and he took us to some amazing places including the main market, up a mountain for some spectacular views, to an artisan ceramic sculptor's shop and a tile factory. The wineries were of course the highlight and the two we visited were both rich in history and flavor. Andy was also incredibly personable and both some English fluently.
My wife and I have taken alot of tours over the years and this was one of the best we have experienced. Highly recommended.

We had an enjoyable time with Andres, whose enthusiasm for his homeland shone throughout the day. Because we booked on a Monday, certain parts of the usual tour were closed (market), but Andres had other experiences for us. One of our group had a problem with charges to her credit card, and Andres got personally involved in the resolution of the problem. I will mention that we booked understanding that "private" tour meant just our group of four, but it really meant a small group tour, as another couple joined us. We still had a great time exploring southern and western Portugal with our small group.
