Absolutely amazing tour with Boy! We had a group of 8 ages 15-75 including teenage girls and boys and our great uncle. Boy was able to keep us all engaged by telling stories of those who lived and died in the Normandy campaign. Boy has inside information from first hand discussions with the men who fought and those who have passed away. It was abundantly clear this was not just regurgitating history books, but telling real accounts of the men on the ground. He has a true calling and passion for making sure the stories of these courageous individuals never die. Absolutely 100% would recommend Boy for your private tour.

Boy with Neptune Battle Tours was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable on the history of the battles, the region, the sites. Friendly and very helpful. We were able to customize our itinerary and he took us to some extra sites when we had some extra time at the end of the day. For some sites he had created a large photo book with pictures showing what the sites looked like during the battles and afterward. Very well prepared. He presented the history in an interesting way and was able to answer all our questions.
I have been to Normandy a couple of times in the past but this was the best tour I have had. Highly recommended. Thank You Boy!

My husband and I had a five star experience during our private guided tour from Bayeux today. Boy was extremely knowledgeable, providing us with a comprehensive tour of the US cemetery, the beaches at Omaha/Utah and several “off the beaten path” locations. His detailed and thorough command of the history was impressive. He is also a very nice person to boot. We highly recommend Boy and Neptune Battle Tours!

A quiet day of reflection that opened itself to stories, connections, and new friendships. When booking a private tour of Normandy we did not fully know what to expect. Boy took our lack of preference and scheduled a day we will not forget. Setting the focus of the day by starting at American Cemetery sharing stories of the lost but never forgotten boys that gave so much. We moved to the beaches Omaha and Utah to show the impact on the local communities and determination shed that faithful day. It was during lunch though that we got to know Boy, a storyteller with a passion for history and a respect for the past. His own history and background was full of surprises. We shared a lot that day and Boy was the best part of it. A tour we would do again.

Our tour with Boy was INCREDIBLE!!! We did a day trip from Paris by train to Bayeux with our three grown daughters. This was such a personal tour to see and hear things you will not experience in other Normandy tours. Boy is so knowledgeable and answers and explains every question. This is a MUST DO TOUR!! My wife and I hired Boy for a tour of the Normandy area on Aug. 30, 2023. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I have studied World War 2 all my life and also lost an uncle in the war. Boy picked us up at our hotel right on time and we spent the day with him touring the Normandy battle areas. I have always considered my self well versed in the facts of the invasion and subsequent battles that happened in this historic area, but Boy’s knowledge was far superior to mine. Every question that I had, he had the answer right off. I learned the most amazing facts and stories with his tour. He showed us all the main sites we wanted to see and then added so much more at each place that I didn’t know about. This man truly knows everything about D-Day, the Normandy area and many well hidden and very amazing surprises that he saved for the end of our tour. I think the out of the way spots he took us to were the most amazing things I have ever seen! We saw small towns and battle stories of individual soldiers and units that drew so much emotion and gave me a new prospective of the war. The stories he brought back to life were powerful, personal and meaningful in ways I never imagined. I am so pleased that he took us to these spots. Hiring Boy for this once in a life time trip was fantastic. In addition to all my praise for his skills, he is also one of the most pleasant people I’ve had the privilege of meeting. I felt as if a lifelong friend was driving me around. If you are going to be in Normandy and want to truly see the sites, hire this man, you will not go wrong! Thank you Boy for filling a life long dream for me, I can’t thank you enough. My hope is to come back to Normandy to see more sites, see you and thank you personally.

Normandy was the first stop on our trip this summer. We were extremely lucky to have booked a tour that led us to Boy and Neptune Battle Tours. The day we spent with him was a day we will never forget.
The passion that Boy has for the story of Normandy can not be matched. His tour is a full day of walking in the footsteps of brave soldiers. He is a walking book of the history of this area and of the war. There are not enough words to thank him for the experience we received.

This was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Boy, made things so interesting. We had a couple of skeptical teenagers, but Boy’s stories and descriptions hooked them from the start. We saw major sites and some hidden gems along the way.
