Enjoy your private day tour to 2 provinces in the central part of Thailand. Start the tour in Bangkok to visit Maeklong railway market, Damnoensaduak Floating market. Taste Thai fruits and desserts and enjoy some personal time for shopping and boat ride to the market.

Then visit Ayutthaya Historical Park and UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the famous ancient temples “Wat Mahathat”, “Wat Phra Sri Sanphet” as well as “Wat Lokaya Sutharam”.

* We will drive about 2.5 hours from Floating market to Ayutthaya
* We have 2 options : start at 07:00 a.m. or 08:00 a.m.
* If traveler selected option to start tour at 07:00 a.m., we will visit Maeklong railway market visit as well.
* If traveler selected option to start tour at 08:00 a.m. we will not visit Maeklong railway market due to time not permitted.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub)
Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok at 07:00 a.m. or 08:00 a.m. as your selected start time option. Transfer to visit Maeklong railway market (only for option start at 07:00 a.m.), the amazing market where you can view the train passing over the products that sell on the train track. Explore the market, walk on the railway and taste some Thai desserts and fruits. Important note : * Maeklong railway market visit is only for option start at 07:00 a.m. * If traveler selected option start at 08:00 a.m. we will not be able to visit Maeklong railway market.
2. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
Visit Damnoensaduak Floating market, the first floating market in Thailand by private a/c vehicle. Before visit the floating market, enjoy your private canal tour around 20-30 minutes. Enjoy sightseeing, view and observe Thai people house in the countryside, their fruits and flower farms along the canal. The boat will bring us to the floating market where you can enjoy taking photos, tasting Thai desserts, food, drink as well as shopping.
3. Historic City of Ayutthaya
After the Floating market. Drive about 2.5 hours from the Floating market to Ayutthaya, UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. Have an optional lunch at the local restaurant in Ayutthaya which your tour guide can recommend you the place (Late lunch around 13:30 p.m.)
4. Wat Mahathat
After optional lunch, visit Wat Mahathat (Temple of the great holy relics of the Lord Buddha) which located at the Centre of Ayutthaya Historical Park. The temple built since the late 14th century. The highlight of this temple is the head of Buddha image inside the tree root and the beautiful ruin architecture remains.
5. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet
Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the royal chapel and used to be the residence area of the Kings in Ayutthaya period from 1350 - 1767 A.D. This temple and the complex was a prototype of Grand Palace in Bangkok.
6. Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam)
Wat Lokaya Sutharam, the temple which has the longest Reclining Buddha image in Ayutthaya. Then return to your hotel in Bangkok around 18:00 - 18:30 p.m.

My wife and I had a wonderful private tour with Mr. Harry. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in a private/modern car, and visited the Maeklong Station Market, the Lad Tuk Luk Floating Market (included a boat ride), and three sites in Ayutthaya. Mr. Harry seems to know everyone, so we never had to wait on lines, and were able to see so many amazing sites and taste so many flavors. Finally, Mr. Win was a great driver - we felt so safe and comfortable the whole time. Highly recommended!!!

“Very disappointed with the points of interest” *Maeklong Railway Market is very dirty and smells too bad (not recommended at all, it is very disappointing)
*Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is not as beautiful as advertised, the river water is dirty
*Historic City of Ayutthaya, very beautiful, it is highly recommended to visit it

Our first full day in Thailand was a joyous journey with Henry. We did not know what to expect and what we experienced and witnessed was beyond our expectations. Henry and our driver were the most patient and courteous people and served us graciously throughout the day with unexpected treats (whether it be food or spiritual!). It’s safe to say the rest of our trip has some high expectations after a day like today! Thank you Henry!

Very fun tour, our tour guide Gwen was amazing and very kind, offering traditional snacks, explaining all the little details and making sure we were all safe. Our driver Achi was always on time and fun to be around. Highly recommended as you can learn all about the Thai culture and the Bangkok traditions through the floating and railway markets, tasting of traditional foods and of course the Ayutthaya site!

My partner and I had a great Tour with Patrick! His English speaking was so fluent I forgot often that his first language is Thai. Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions and went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. Patrick’s performance was 5/5.

Separate from Patrick’s amazing performance, I do have feedback on the tour group we booked through on viator. There was a lot of traveling via car that I wasn’t expecting. More time was spent in the car than seeing the sights which felt like a miss given the $330 cost of the tour for 2. I’m unsure if I’d recommend the itinerary or the sights seen on this tour, but I’d HIGHLY recommend Patrick as a tour guide. I’d rate the itinerary/cost 3/5.
