Me and my wife had an amazing time on this tour! It was so fun and romantic, we didn’t want it to end! Our tour guide Tiago C was amazing, top notch driving, full of information, and lots of fun. If you are thinking about touring the Douro don’t look anywhere else this is the one!

My friends and I did a private tour with Tiago. We can't say enough great things about our day, which was the highlight (besides Taylor Swift, of course) of our week long trip to Portugal.
We were picked up on time, in a nice car and Tiago was a great driver. We started our day at Don Rodrigo Taberna which was the most cutest little stop and where we found our most favorite vinho verde. Then we headed up the mountain to D'Origem for a wine and olive oil tasting - amazing views up there! After that we did a river cruise, where I think they try to sober you up, but we brought some of our favorite wine from the first stop. This was a great little break with beautiful views as well. We ended day with lunch and a port wine tasting at the cutest vineyard in Sabrosa.
The day was perfectly planned and Tiago really went above and beyond to make our day special. He's very knowledge, professional yet personable.... with a great sense of humor.

Our private Douro Valley tour with Tiago was the highlight of our month long trip in Europe. He was patient, punctual, professional, and went out of his way to make it such a phenomenal experience. The company itself was great with adjusting our itinerary to meet our wants and communicating throughout. Don’t even bother looking at any other company. Book this one. We will always recommend this company and Tiago to our friends. We would even do it again!

Sabrina of Touch Tours did an outstanding job of customizing the tour to our tastes. She found two exceptional wine tours and tastings, including one at a leading organic producer, and she booked us at a top notch restaurant for lunch. Our guide Tiago C did a superb job of conducting the tour. He is exceptionally engaging and knowledgeable about the Douro Valley, wine and food, having worked extensively as a professional chef.

We took a private tour with Pedro. It was fantastic — he made us feel like we were part of the family and he went above and beyond to make the experience great. The views were breathtaking, the wine delicious, and the vibes good. If you are taking a private tour, do make sure you keep an eye on communications from the company beforehand because they personalize the tour. Also be forewarned that some items on the tour are extra, so you could pay more than initially billed to fund those. Totally worth it in my opinion!

The Douro valley was beautiful (despite cold and rainy weather) but the coordination and communication from Touch Tours was disappointing and stressful. Our tour guide showed up at 8:30 even though I had received a reminder email the day before saying we would leave at 9, the guide was told they were picking up 2 people even though we had booked for a group of 4, and somehow they had no idea the entire wine route would be closed for several hours for a bike race so we were stuck on the side of the road for over an hour with several other guides/cars from the same company. The local experience was wonderful once we finally made it but would have been much more enjoyable without all of the confusion and lack of coordination by a supposed expert company on the ground who didn’t know or expect a major event for the day we planned to visit.

Our day with João was fantastic! He was super fun, full of interesting information and made our day in the Douro Valley a day to remember for always! We added on a stop to the beginning of our journey, at a winery specializing in Pet Nat, and this personal touch was such seamless addition. Afterwards he drove us to a wonderful lunch, with a great view, and told us interesting history of the valley, as well as his hometown of Porto. He was friendly, knowledgable, beloved, and a really great companion for the day.

"I'm disappointed to share that our wine tour experience in Portugal was marred by an unexpected flat tire, which significantly disrupted our plans. However, what compounded our disappointment was the lack of assistance and empathy from the CEO Sara Santos when we reached out for help. Despite the picturesque setting and promising itinerary, the overall experience was soured by the company's inadequate response to our predicament. We were on the side of the highway for HOURS in a very dangerous highway setting with no help. This was a horrible experience do not recommend!!!!!”
