We booked the Private Doge’s Palace and Saint Mark’s Basilica Walking Tour with Martina from LivTours Venice, and it was absolutely perfect. Martina was already at the meeting point before the tour began. We visited everything we had hoped to see, and Martina showcased a remarkable depth of knowledge about the sites, answering all of our questions with ease.

The tour was initially scheduled for 3 hours, but we could have easily spent 6 hours, as exploring with a guide who possesses such in-depth knowledge makes the experience much more engaging. This is especially true when traveling as a family. We highly recommend this tour.

What a great experience. Our guide was patient with two jet lagged kids and had all the answers to every question, big or small. She kept it engaging, informative and truly enjoyable. I’d recommend this to anyone with kids, a love of history and/or time to spare.

We spent a week in Italy this November and took several Liv Tours as we traveled along. The guides were all terrific and very knowledgeable. They seemed passionate about their cities and showed us extra sites as we had time. We especially enjoyed Sabrina in Venice. She was interesting and kind and made our trip extra special.

Such a privilege to do this tour! Our family of four were the only people on this tour! Our tour guide did an amazing job of making the tour interesting and fun for the adults and children. She pointed out absolutely incredible works of art, described the history of Venice, the Basilica and the Doge’s palace. She graciously took some photos for us and gave us some lovely restaurant recommendations. I didn’t feel rushed because we got to skip all of the lines and go to every place we wanted. If you’re debating this tour I highly recommend it. It’s absolutely worth every penny!
