Private Departure Transfer: Hotel to Rome Fiumicino Airport

Our departure transfer confirmation said we would be picked up from the hotel at 5:30am. Driver showed up at 5am had the hotel desk call us and rush us along. We had no prior communication of the change in pick up time. We came down at 5:20 the driver was clearly upset with us. The hotel had coffees ready for us to take for the ride. No cup holders whatsoever in the car. the driver proceeded to drive like a maniac through the cobbled streets of Rome causing hot coffee to splash out of the lid all over me. We googled the route to the airport and saw that we had plenty of time so there was no need for such a rush and driving so crazy other than the possibility that the driver had another pick up to get to. We would have been fine with it had they only communicated to us the new pick up time. It made for a very stressful start to a long day of a travel not to mention a scary drive as well as having to spend 20 hours of travel with coffee stains all over the front of me.

The driver did not speak English, but we found out he spoke Spanish, and we had a wonderful conversation all the airport. The driver arrived early and had us to the airport in plenty of time despite the traffic in Rome.

Our transfer experience went exactly to plan. Our driver arrived early, loaded our bags and we were on our way. It was a very smooth ride, and we arrived at the airport early. He dropped us at the door closest to our airline.

We purchased a private transfer from our Airbnb to the airport for our return trip home. All messages and questions were answered promptly and confirmation was sent. Our driver was waiting for us outside and was very professional and friendly. The van was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this service.

Booked a transfer to Rome airport from our apartment. The transfer was not there at 8am as requested. Thankfully our host had accidentally booked us a transfer, also, so we were able to depart for the airport as planned. The Viator transfer turned up 8 minutes after we left, and then sent a photograph taken from the parking spot we had just loaded up in, and claimed to have arrived fifteen minutes before 8am. I also discovered that the Viator price of €140 is exactly double the usual transfer rate. Really disappointing service. Also the Viator customer service/complaint side is very poor. I won't use Viator again.

Had an early flight so had to have a 5.30 am pick up from the hotel to make the check in, no issues the car was on time as was the drive to the airport, the airline and the process well that is another story, make sure you leave plenty of time for your flights.

Our ride to the airport was fine! Unfortunately when I called to confirm earlier that morning, I was met with a very angry man on the phone, who yelled at me, and told me to stop trying to talk Italian… which I am quite good at. I will probably not use Viator again because this man was extremely rude to me with every question I asked! He ruined my day & put me in a bad mood! This person should not be answering the phone and berating customers.

The driver arrived 15 minutes early, was courteous and helpful, and safely delivered us to the airport. No fuss, no muss.

Would abolutely recommend this to anyone seeking similar transportation.
