It wasn’t a perfect day to visit Timisoara as it was gloomy but I had a great time on this daytrip. Not to mention how knowledgeable my guide was. Milos was like a walking history book, impressive. He shared a lot during the tour and was very flexible with the time.

We wanted to start bit earlier than the usual time and he was all in to cater our requirements. This trip was definitely worth the money. Our guide Alex was superb. we travelled with friends and family, and he was so good with the kids. We called him uncle Alex and he was very friendly and helpful. I would suggest this trip and the tour guide.

We had a great day with Konstantin. He had a lot of knowledge on both Serbia and Romania, and we learned a lot. The drive was very nice, and he showed us the most imporant places befor we had some time on our own.

My friends and I really enjoyed our day trip from Belgrade to Timisoara. Our guide Vladimir was very thorough in his explanations about both Serbia and Romania and we learnt a lot about the cultures and histories of both countries. We visited some of the main attractions with our guide and afterwards had some time to wander around on our own. The drive to and from Timisoara were pleasant and we felt like we were in good hands the whole time. Would definitely recommend this trip to others!

Sure glad we did not do this on our own! Michael showed up on time and safely drove us to Timisoara, and woke us up (ha ha ha) when there was something of interest to explain the significance. He got us through customs with no issues and gave us a very informative walking tour of the city. The tourist area is small but we had enough time to do everything we wanted in a one day expedition! We really appreciated Michaels professionalism... and safe driving.

Romanian friends from back home in Chicago encouraged me to take a day trip to Timisoara when I was in Belgrade, and I am glad that they did. It's a beautiful city, with a fascinating history and eclectic architecture. The Museum of the 1989 Revolution is well worth the short walk from the main squares. Aleksandar was a great guide: friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Our driver (sorry, his name escapes me) was skilled and funny. The drive there and back was on smaller roads, making it possible to get a feel for the countryside and villages of the Banat region.

This trip was worth the money. Our guide / driver, Mikhail, picked us up promptly on time and did a great job over the next 2.5 hour ride to Timisoara of being informative but not excessive. He knew both the history of the area and the current socio-economic concerns of the regions we were visiting, and it made for a pleasant and informative ride. Once in Timisoara itself, he guided us through the town at a pace that was attentive to our limitations (I need a knee replacement), never indicating the leaast bit of urgency or impatience with the tour. He also gave us two hours of our own to explore the city and grab lunch. The weather and the town's three major squares were all beautiful. I know the ride back had to be tough for Mikhail, considering I fell asleep minutes after we left Timisoara, but he never complained. Overall, it was just a great time, thanks to Mikhail, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get out of Belgrade for a day.

We were hesitant to drive so long to go to Timisoara but found the experience very worthwhile. Watching video of the events leading up to the overthrow of Ceaușescu then standing in the square where it all takes place makes this trip worthwhile. Even for non-history buffs, the squares are both pretty and mostly unspoiled but tourism.
