After three days in Venice and another three in Florence, it was nice to ride through the Tuscan countryside in a private Mercedes minivan expertly driven by Mauricio. In addition to his driving skills, he was most accommodating and sought to aid in every way. While the booking stated that the driver was not a guide, Maurizio was quite informed and willing to share his knowledge with us.
San Gimignano was packed with tourists and Siena even more so which reduced the charm factor. Both were “touristy” but Siena more so. If not for Maurizio, I would have given the day a 4.

Our day trip from Florence to Siena, Menucelli Winery, and San Gimignano was spectacular. Being with a small group tour is highly advisable and makes the experience more personal. Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Antonio was our excellent driver. I would highly recommend this tour company, and advise seeing the lovely town of Siena. Our Tuscan meal and wine tasting was delicious. Scenery from San Gimignano was out of a movie. Don’t think twice about booking this tour, you will make memories to last a lifetime.

Alessandro picked us up at our hotel in Florence at 8am sharp. He took us to Pisa and then San Gimingiano. With little notice, he added in a lunch and wine tasting experience in San Donato (added expense paid directly to the winery) before taking us to Siena. He even stopped by the Piazzale Michelangelo right at sunset on our way home. He was a perfect guide for the day and shared amazing stories and history all along the way. This isn’t an inexpensive trip…but the quality of the experience made it our favorite day in Italy. Recommend this 100%.

We went to the town of Greve which was quaint and had some pretty shops and places to eat. Then we went to the Vineyard Casa Emma for wine tasting and lunch. Our driver Allessandro was exceptional. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to the town of San Gimignano and all around the area. We had a wonderful day. Would highly recommend Prestige tours.

We were picked up from our hotel in central Florence by Guiseppe at 8 am. He was on-time and very personable. The vehicle used was clean and comfortable and in good condition. We were scheduled to go to Pisa and Siena and San Gimignano but he also recommended we may want to have lunch in Monteriggioni which we did. We were happy with the recommendation. Guiseppe was very flexible and was interested in us having a good time.
It was rainy that day and the roads were busy and slippery but we felt totally safe the whole trip.
I would highly recommend this tour and this driver.
