Overwhelmingly beautiful. This temple is a must if you are in Aswan. Aswan itself is as peaceful as Cairo is noisy!

A brilliantly organised tour. Samir, the tour guide, was very well organised, and well prepared. He gave us a detailed map and ‘lesson’ on the two temples before we arrived, so we didn’t need to waste time on arrival, and so we would know what to look for inside the temple, and what the depictions meant.
We were picked up on time, the vehicle was very comfortable and the lunch was fine.

Wow i dont know where to start. The car was white sports and very clean and smelled really nice. The Ahmed was very gentle and calm. He drived very steady and even thought he didnt speak much english he still tried to make small talks to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. At times he even stopped at some photo spots to take my picture and video. Which was very nice and thoughtful of him. I appreciated the effort a lot. I would definitely recommend Ahmed.

An early start and a clever driver got us to the temple site ahead of the crowds. The temples and their positioning is as amazing as they are reputed to be and this is so worth the trip. Our guide gave us all the information we needed to appreciate the site and the carvings on the way down so we could appreciate them in full while we were there.

Abu Simbel is a must-see that is worth the trip. Our driver Mohammad arrived on time and drove us to Abu Simbel quickly and safely within three hours one-way. He was ready to leave as soon as we were. Highly recommend!

Of course Abu Simbel and Nefetari Temple were amazing, with the bonus of almost no other tourists there in mid-December due to mass tourist cancellations. Samir was well organised, and stepped us through every part of the tour. He even gave us a map of the depictions inside the two temples and explained it all to us on the way, so we didn’t waste time when we got there, and we knew what to look for inside. The car was very comfortable and the lunch provided was perfectly fine.

Trip was straight forward. Trip started 7am. Did 1 toilet break in between. Reach at 1030am. Nice to have very few people at this time. Took all nice photos. Hamo took us to nice lunch place. Price is fine and justifiable with the amount of spread. I rate lunch 8/10. Hamo then drove us back to hotel. Appreciated no visits to any souvenirs shops. He drove professionally , gentle over humps, feel that ride is safe.

What a great experience, the guide makes all the difference. This is our 5th tour in Egypt on this trip and Samir with Emo tours is by far the best. From Aswan it was a three hour drive to Abu Simbel. Samir made an unscheduled stop to treat us to falafels, then spent two hours deeply explaining all aspects of both temples with pictures and a special map that really helped as no guides are allowed in the temples. Being well prepared going in you can almost read all hieroglyphs and hear the stories in Samirs voice with great understanding of what you are seeing. Most importantly, he timed our arrival which was just after the morning rush of buses and before the rush of the airport gang. We literally had the temples nearly to ourselves. Having rooms and sections of the temple to ourselves gave us the ability to spend time feeling the energy and imagine the stories that were written. Finally the lunch location was a real treat. A few minutes away from the temples was a small place with a true Nubian chef using Nubian spices, perfectly grilled meat and veggies with saffron rice, soup, salad and some other tasty treats! Honourable mention to the driver Hakim who really made the long drive as comfortable as possible. Samir had a way of making the history of this tour come alive! What a great day!

We bought an ENGLISH speaking tour! When the driver showed up 20 minutes late he couldn’t speak any ENGLISH at all. No way in hell where we going to go 180 miles to Abu Simbel Eygypt
In the desert with a driver that could not speak English!! We did not go. We feel that it was a bait and switch situation. We have asked for a refund and you will not grant a refund. YOU did not deliver what we bought and paid for. We are very disappointed with your service and product. Emo Tours lied to you and me in what they delivered. We expect a refund. If we do not we will never use your services again nor give any referral to aviator! Bill Preuss
