The Giza pyramid complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site is at the edges of the Western Desert, approximately 9 km (5 mi) west of the Nile River in the city of Giza, and about 13 km (8 mi) southwest of the city centre of Cairo. The Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Khafre are the largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt, and they have historically been common as emblems of ancient Egypt in the Western imagination.They were popularised in Hellenistic times, when the Great Pyramid was listed by Antipater of Sidon as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is by far the oldest of the ancient Wonders and the only one still in existence.
3. Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
Khufu's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated.[4][5] The valley temple was connected to a causeway which was largely destroyed when the village was constructed.

Khafre's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple and the king's pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.
6. Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre. Cut from the bedrock, the original shape of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 m (240 ft) long from paw to tail, 20 m (66 ft) high from the base to the top of the head and 19 m (62 ft) wide at its rear haunches. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC).
7. Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids

Definitely a must . Our tour guide Syed was pleasant, knowledgeable of the environment. Easy to talk to gave us information just the right amount.
We really enjoyed the tour. Lunch was very good too.

The guide, Joseph, was excellent. He was punctual to pick me up at the hotel and efficient in managing the time throughout. He was impressively knowledgable about Egyptology and explained me well on details on this ancient civilization.

The tour by and large was very good. Two issues though: 1) the English of my tour guide was very hard to understand at times, and there were some dates/facts that he admitted he had fogotten,. 2) the driver who picked my up at the airport did not show me any proof that he was hired by Viator - the fact that he knew my name and what sites we were scheduled to see convinced me that he was ligit. But it would have been more comforting to see some sort of proof of who he was.

My tour guide, Hamby (Ahmad), was so passionate and knowledgeable about history, friendly and warm (I felt safe), conscientious, and thorough. He carefully explained the day and all we were doing, and he was generous with ideas for photos that would make more meaningful memories. I couldn’t be more pleased with him and this experience! I recommend him 100 times over.

Great day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and she spoke English very well. The pictures she took of us were very nice. The only negative thing was that we had the option to do a camel ride on the Giza platform for €20 each for a 30-minute camel ride and she said that that was a very good price. Later at the Sfinx we saw a sign saying the official rate is 500 Egp (€10) for 1 hour. The included lunch was delicious and before we stopped in shops (e.g papyrus factory) we were always asked if we wanted to see it or not.

Overall we had a good experience in the tour because the places we went are completely amazing! However we were not very satisfied with the guide of this tour. Although she was kind, her explanations were far away of what we expected, even more if we consider it was a tour for 2 people with enough time to explain much more. The level of Spanish was not enough to be clear but specially the attitude was disappointing. She did a tiny introduction of each place and then wanted us to go around and see the place while she waited seated in the shadow.

She was supposed to be our guide for the next day also (Cairo) but we requested another guide (in this case in English). Fortunately, the company was easy to reach through WhatsApp and they changed the guide without problem. The new guide for next day was great and we were very satisfied.

Overall I recommend the tour and the company. The guide can be a matter of luck but you can always try to contact the company if something happens :)

I would definitely recommend this tour. I went as a solo traveller and it was amazing to have the guide (Hosam) and driver. Hosam was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming, answering all questions I had.

Would definitely recommend if you do not want to be part of the crowds.
