Great trip. We had the comfort of our own car. The guide Samir explained everything in detail during the drive and gave us a map of the temple for us to find our way around. He got us through the queues and made everything easy and enjoyable. It’s a little pricey for what you get but worth the extra money

Our driver was dressed nicely and the car was clean. His English was better, and he was waiting with the name sign at the arrival of the airport.

Our trip started at 9:30 from the airport and we were at the temple at 12:40. All the tour groups were gone and very few people at the site. At some point we were alone in the small temple.

We were back to Aswan a little before 6.

Considering that the tour is quite expensive, the car was a bit old. The place where they take you to eat is not exactly a 'restaurant' so we preferred a lunch box which we then ate at the hotel. But the strangest thing was that the guide asked us to pay for the tickets with our credit card and that he would then reimburse us in cash. Of course we did not accept this. And in the end, despite the high cost of the tour, I suppose they expected a higher tip.

We had the pleasure to have Ahmad from Emo Tours, who drove us from Aswan to Abu Simbel & back. He was very professional & went out of his way to make us comfortable throughout the long journey. He was also very informative and recommended to us various activities in Aswan. Along the way, he pointed out the interesting places we could visit. Ahmad surprised us by packing falafel lunch in Abu Simbel. He was friendly and we chatted on many topics during the long journey. Overall we had a wonderful trip with Ahmad at the wheel & would highly recommend him to other visitors.

We were picked up on time. We felt very comfortable to ride with our driver. The site was not crowded at all during our visit. That was a plus. At end of the trip, the driver bought each of us a cup of ice coconut. That was so thoughtful after a hot day tour.
