Commonly known in English as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and officially as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand.
5. The Golden Mount (Wat Saket)
Wat Saket was the capital's crematorium and the dumping ground for some 60,000 plague victims in the late-18th century. At the base of the Golden Mount, you’ll find an unusual cemetery covered in vines and overgrown trees. It emits a rather spooky out-of-era vibe. Once you arrive at the top of Wat Saket, you’ll be surrounded by a wall of bells and panoramas of Bangkok Old Town.
6. Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market)
A very large flower market with hundreds of flower vendors. Many of which create intricate, hand-woven flowers and arrangements. The hand-weaving of flowers is unlike anything ever you have seen at any other flower market in the world. This is definitely worth a visit while in Bangkok!
7. Chatuchak Weekend Market
Bangkok largest market in Thailand. Also known as JJ Market, it has more than 15,000 stalls and 11,505 vendors, divided into 27 sections. Chatuchak Market sells many different kinds of goods, including plants, antiques, consumer electronics, cosmetics, pets, fresh and dry food and drinks, ceramics, furniture and home accessories, clothing, and books. It is the world's largest and most diverse weekend market, with over 200,000 visitors every weekend.
8. Wat Pak Nam
Stunning temple outside the main city area with a massive gold Buddha statue in the process and an adorable white pagoda with a museum worth visiting.

Backpacker heaven, a lot of street food, and good to hang out with friends at night time.

The temple of 5.5 tons of golden Buddha in Bangkok Chinatown. This is one of the best places you must see in Bangkok.
11. Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat)
Loha Prasat, located at Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan, is a pyramid-like monument with golden spires. Every time you enter Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, this 7-story structure is a must-see for any tourist. Photographing this Loha Prasat is best done from the outside or from the Maha Jessadabodin Pavilion Court.

Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram is a Buddhist temple in the Dusit District of Bangkok, Thailand. Also known as the Marble Temple, it is one of Bangkok's best-known temples and a major tourist attraction. It typifies Bangkok's ornate style of high gables, stepped-out roofs, and elaborate finials.

Wat Suthat is one of the most important and oldest temples of the Rattanakosin era in Bangkok. It is one of the six temples in Thailand of the highest grade of the first class Royal temples.
