Toni was wonderful. His calm informative demeanor was refreshing & educational. He’s a great guide and the fact that he was a child during the Cold War gave us some interesting insights

Rob from Manchester was a terrific guide. He had a tremendous historical perspective and enhanced the tour with historic photos from his iPad at various locations. He also tailored the experience for our teens. Really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend.

I did this private tour with my daughter and her friend. Nick was our guide and was fantastic! His knowledge of the city and it's past was phenomenal and a private tour allowed us to visit areas tailored to our interests. He brought the tour to life with the many stories of Berlin's past, it's characters, escape stories and what life was like living in Berlin then and now.

As a teacher who has now been bringing sixth-form history groups to Berlin annually since 2014, this is basically the first thing I book after flights and accommodation. We mostly use Mike whose own 'insider' perspective on the Cold War combines with unbelievable expertise, knowledge and flair to make him genuinely unmissable. That said, we've also used John, and following our recommendation of the company a colleague in another school has used Michael - they've all been incredible. Most recent tour (Sept 2018) was perhaps the best yet - it says something rather special when having done a tour 6 times it is as fresh, fascinating and insightful as it was the first.
