Private tour to visit in detail the principal sites of interest located in the old city of Cartagena. This excellent experience begins by visiting the main monuments of the city like the La Popa's Hill. The highest point of the city where there is a convent dating the beginning of the XVII Century. after we visit San Felipe de Barajas Fortress which is considered the most important military fortification in South America. Then the tour heads to the walled city and the bohemian neighborhood Getsemaní. first a stop for shopping in the last build fortification named "Las Bovedas" , after we take a walking tour, visiting the different squares of the city (St Domingo Square, Bolivar Square, Los Coches Square, Aduana Square, Clock Tower, St Pedro Square) and admiring the old colonial houses filled with history and legend. At the end we take a tour by the modern part of Cartagena (Bocagrande, Laguito and Castillogrande).

Our guide, Kee-kay, and our driver, Fausto, were AMAZING! They picked us up promptly (in an air conditioned vehicle), provided water throughout the tour, and were accommodating to any requests or questions. Everywhere we went, everyone knew Kee-kay and expressed that he was one of the best guides around, and we couldn't agree more.
The tour included all the stops advertised and Kee-kay did an amazing job explaining everything and making sure we understood the cultural significance of each stop. It was not an overwhelming amount of walking and the pictures we were able to capture were amazing. Overall, excellent tour.
If I had one critique (and it is small and perhaps out of the company's power), there are a lot of solicitors throughout Cartagena. I generally don't mind and understand it comes with the territory. Part of what sets apart some tour guides is their ability/willingness to help navigate that scene. I might be interested in buying a trinket from the solicitor, but I would love a little guidance and we didn't get (nor did we really ask for) any. Again, it is a very small thing that did not impact how excellent the tour was, but you will be bombarded with people, at every stop, trying to sell you things and our guide took a very hands-off approach to letting us maneuver that.

Nico, our tour guide, was just excellent. He was so knowledgeable and very patient. His English was also excellent. He also let us stop and take photos/memories whenever we wanted to.

Very good tour from port. My mom uses a walker and doesn’t get around well.
We toured the whole city, the guide and driver did amazing with our handicap.

My wife and kids enjoyed every minute of the tour. We explored the most iconic places and learned a great amount of rich history. Paco and Gabriel took great care of us in a very professional, knowledgeable and fun fashion. Highly recommend to everyone that want to learn and explore the best of Cartagena.

Rafa was an amazing guide. We truly enjoyed the experience he put together for us. Everything from transportation to how he customized the tour for our group (we had folks from 75-6 years old) was perfect. My family is Colombian and had done other tours of Cartagena in the past, but they all agree this was their favorite. Strongly recommend!

The driver and guide were pleasant and did everything we requested. Happy with Viator service. Unfortunately, they couldn't come into the port pier.

What an incredible way to get to know Cartagena and Colombia with taking this tour! Our driver Manuel and our Guide Jaime introduced us to Cartagena’s highlights and history, we enjoyed Colombian (and Greek) music and ate at a traditional Colombian coffee shop! Highly recommend the tour and our new Colombian friends!!
