We did a day trip from Florence and we had such a great time!! Our guide, Massimo was one of a kind. He absolutely made our trip. He is extremely knowledgeable about all topics, gave us history notes, restaurant and attraction recommendations and was extremely personable! We were tired out from planning our trip so it was very nice to be able to just get into the car and let them take us on their planned route. We drove through Tuscany, stopped for pictures along the way, went to San Gimignano, stopped in a small village, had lunch at a winery, and made a stop in Greve as well. This was a very fun and relaxing day I would highly recommend it.

Max helped us arrange a wine tour and transfer from Florence to Montepulciano. Sonny, our driver, was professional, delightful and very informative. The wine tour and lunch pairing is not to be missed.

Our wine tour of Chianti was beautiful. We can’t say enough nice things about our guide Massimo. Casa Emma had an amazing food/ wine pairing. It was a great experience for the family.

Mossimo was a great tour guide. He took us to awesome wineries with good food. They were smaller boutique wineries which we loved, and took us to stop in a few small towns as well. Would def recommend!

We had a fabulous private tour (7 adults) starting with a pick up in a very comfortable Mercedes van and a very friendly driver Sonny from our hotel in Florence with a stop in the beautiful city of Siena. Then off to a private lunch and wine tour at Castello Monerinaldi Winery. Everything Max arranged for us was perfect. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend the Tuscany in Tour comapny.

From our first inquiry, Max was quick to respond and accommodated our schedule, which included a cruise, as well as land activities.

Arriving in Florence, we were met and taken to our excellently located hotel (booked by Max). The next day, our private guide took us on an individualized tour including Pisa, several stops, and the highlight, a tour of a family owned winery and tasting, which resulted in the purchase of a case of wine shipped to our home.

The next day, another highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide took us on a walking tour including a visit to see David. We learned so much and saw everything on our list, all without lines or wasted time.

After being driven to the train station, we were personally seated in our first class seats to Naples, where another guide was waiting to take us to the cruise port.

Following our cruise, we were again met in Venice and transferred by private water taxi to our hotel booked by Max in San Marco Square. The next day, our Italian guide took us on a tour by water taxi through various waterways and canals, all the while explaining what we were seeing in a colorful, entertaining way, followed by a walking tour and private Murano glass-blowing demonstration (again resulting in a shipment to our home).

Our unforgettable trip concluded with a return water taxi to the airport. Max handled all the details in a prompt, professional manner, at a reasonable cost. The guides were the best we have met anywhere. Tuscany in Tour has our highest reccomendation!

We recently did a private all day tour of the Chianti region and it was one of our favorite days in Italy. First, our guide Massimo was wonderful. He was very personable and entertaining. We were in Europe for 3 weeks and did about a dozen tours and the guides with great personalities really stood out. Massimo was definitely at the top of our list in terms of tour guides. He was very memorable (I'm having trouble remembering at least half our guides names just a couple weeks later), but he definitely stood out.

First he took us to Montefioralle, a charming old village lined with cute little shops. He let us roam around for an hour or so by ourselves after showing us to one of the best gelato places we visited in Italy. We liked that he gave us some time on our own to explore and do some shopping.

Then he took us to a small, family-owned winery called Casa Emma where we had lunch (with wine of course). The meal was probably one of the best we had in Italy and the staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the wine and ended up shipping a case home.

We then went to another winery (the name now escapes me), but it too was good. We sat outside looking over the rolling hills of Tuscany, sipping wine and munching on the charcuterie plate they brought us. It was so quiet and peaceful. We also really liked the wine and bought some to take with us which we ended up drinking throughout our trip.

We then went to Greve and roamed around a bit on our own, stopping in a cool butcher shop and loading up on cured meats.

On the way back to Florence, Massimo took us up to Piazzale Michelangelo where we got a really good view of the city before being dropped off at our hotel.
