Enjoy this full-day private tour to visit 3 different castles in one day. The tour will begin in Munich and will include 3 castle visits. Your first visit will be at Neuschwanstein Castle with ride through the beautiful countryside. After your visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, you will be taken for a lunch break with your small group. Once your lunch is complete, your driver and private guide will take you to Hohenschwangau Castle.
After your visits to Hohenschwangau Castle, your last visit will be to Linderhof castle, where you will take a short coffee break. Philip was a terrific tour guide. We visited three castles in a day. He's a very safe driver, full of information. Beautiful sights and we learned so much! We were not disappointed and would recommend this tour to everyone.

This was the first time we have booked a private tour and we enjoyed every minute of it. Phillip our driver was courteous and knowledgeable. The BMW was comfortable and had all of the nicest amenities. We toured the three castles and had a quick stop to Oberammergau on the way home.

We were very fortunate to meet Phillip and his excellent tour and car service company. From my many booking questions, to the actual day of service, everything was thorough and 5-stars. He speaks perfect English, yet is a local German who knows every shortcut and fast-track around the city. You feel like you are VIP when you go on a tour with him. We hired him for 2 airport transfers and a full day tour and each was spectacular and efficient. His 7-series is excellent, even better equipped than the S-Class and it had free in-car wifi as well as the executive back seat package. The BMW is definitely the car to get. Phillip anticipates your needs, and is pleasant and easy going at all times. I highly recommend treating yourself to his services when you are in Munich, it will elevate your trip to the next level. We are already thinking about how we can incorporate him into our next European trip. Thanks Phillip.

My wife and I spent two weeks with Philip & Co. of Daetz-Service travelling all over the Bavarian Alps in August 2019. We managed to see all the castles in the area, in addition to several beautiful lakes, towns and mountain peaks (including the highest one in Germany), as well as Eagle's Nest. I mention only some of the places we visited, because frankly there were too many colorful and memorable experiences to list here.
Philip & Co. of Daetz-Service get top marks for the level of service, local knowledge, hospitality and friendliness. They really went the extra distance to accomodate every one of our requests. We didn't have to worry about any details such as buying tickets to all the sights and focused entirely on relaxing and vacationing. We have travelled all over the world, and this trip was easily one of the most memorable and best organized. Not to mention that we spent it in the back of a BMW 7 Series (with wifi access) instead of stressing out behind the wheel of a lesser vehicle. Tour guides were not needed either, because Philip and his colleagues possess expert knowledge and gladly share numerous interesting facts about the sights. Daetz-Service is therefore most highly recommended.

We have booked many tours through Viator, but this was not as advertised at all.
The car was nice and the driver was prompt - that is the end of the good news.
There was no tour or commentary provided at all by our driver Thomas - his English was poor and it appeared as though he had never been to either of the locations before and did not understand the premise of the tour, he took me to the ticket counter but had us purchase the wrong tickets so we only ended up seeing Neuschwanstein at that site. He did not provide any useful directions or commentary on how to get to the castle - gave us wrong directions, did not point out that a carriage was available vs. walking for 40 minutes uphill. When we found out that we could not go to Hohenschwangau he did not even understand that this was part of the tour and even after calling head office they provided no alternatives or suggestions as to how to rearrange the tour to make it work - just got a sorry, I am only the driver. The car was supposed to have Wi-Fi and snacks - we got a warm bottle of water and no Wi-Fi and no snacks.
I have had better service and tours from Uber drivers.
A similar bus tour with a real tour director would have cost us about a third of what we were charged for this and would have provided a much better experience.
