I haven't seen the ocean this year, so let's go to Enoshima Beach! Take the Odakyu Line and walk for three minutes from the station, which looks like the palace of the Dragon King, where you can eat Italian food while watching the waves crashing on the beach! At Il Chianti Beach, you can even see Mount Fuji from the window. I'm here alone for a while to reflect on my life? Watching the waves crashing on the beach really cleanses the soul...

We had an amazing day with Ken and driver. We hit all the hot spots on Buddha’s birthday inclta special ceremony. The cherry blossoms were amazing as was the weather.

We had a great day trip to Kamakura and Yokohama from Tokyo. Mazda san communicated well in advance, was punctual in pick up, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and knew how to get to all of the sites. He gave us options, helped us budget the time, and kept us moving along so we didn't get too held up in any one place. He was professional, but very personable - highly recommend doing a day tour with Mazda san. Arigato!

My husband and I had a wonderful day with our adult children touring multiple sites in Kamakura and Yokohama. Mazda was extremely helpful and had a well prepared and planned day for us. He also allowed us to customize the day as ideas and questions came up. My personal favorite was our experience sipping hot matcha tea overlooking the bamboo garden at Hokokuji Temple which was not on my list but recommended by Mazda. Mazda also took a ton of family pics further us at all the best places. (Most Moms will appreciate this as that way I didn’t have to be the one asking. Loved that!). A second highlight was the Ramen shop Mazda took us to have lunch where locals order from a ticket machine. BEST RAMEN and cold beer!! Try the fried chicken!! Tak our driver was also AWESOME! A very professional duo!! Can’t thank them enough for helping us create amazing memories of our families first trip to Japan!!!

My family spent the day exploring Kamakura and some surrounding areas with Yoshi and a lovely driver. Her English was excellent! We had the best time and we would never have been able to get as much in one day on our own of with a large group tour. We really enjoyed the tours of the different shrines and temples as well as explanations of Japanese culture. One of the highlights was an official matcha tasting by one of the shrines. Another highlight was the cup of noodles museum!
Our day was completely customized for us which was lovely.

Masae was a wonderful native Japanese guide and was a pleasure spending the day with her and her driver. Masae knew and explained the history taking us to places no one esle might know of, while her driver (whose name I cannot recall) knew all the shortcuts and best vantage points. Masae was so kind that she messaged us 5 weeks later to make sure we were safe when a big earthquake hit West Japan as she knew we were traveling all over.

Terrific experience with our licensed tour guide, Mazda. We did a private tour with our family of six. The entire tour was was customizable and flexible according to our preferences, and we greatly appreciated the air conditioned van in the 90+ degree heat and humidity. I would guess that what we saw in one day with Mazda would have taken 3-4 days to see on our own. The time savings, convenience, comfort, and local knowledge made it incredibly worthwhile given our limited time. Mazda was not only an informed tour guide and efficient driver, but also performed roles as a translator, porter, photographer, and all-around whatever-we-needed helper. He was personable, kind, and helpful and gave us an unforgettable experience we will always remember.
