2. Corinth Canal
Visit the Isthmus Canal, one of the most important projects of the 19th century, an engineering masterpiece, playing a catalytic role for Mediterranean trade.
3. The Diolkos
Visit Ancient Diolkos - discover the ancient limestone roads where boat trailers, slaves, ox and other animals were used to heave boats from the Corinthian Gulf to the Saronic sea controlling over 270 Greek colonies. All coastal Mediterranean cities today were once Greek. This brought the geographical and geopolitical dominance of Corinth and played a catalytic role in why the apostle Paul chose to stay for 18 months in Corinth and why he was adamant in establishing his ministry there.

Visit Acrocorinth, the acropolis of ancient Corinth, a monolithic rock 1886 ft above sea level with 4.9 miles of walls - keep and three gates. One of the most impressive and dominant natural defence fortifications today. Remains of churches, mosques, houses and cisterns together with the temple of Aphrodite that once stood can be appreciated. This is where Pegasus, the winged horse grazed. From here we also admire the Frankish tower, breathtaking views of the valley below, the Corinthian and Saronic sea. Visit Hadgimoustafa spring: a fountain built during the Ottoman empire in 1555 AD. Running water from the Upper Pieriene spring accidentally discovered when Pegasus hit his hoof trying to fly away from Velerefonte and the goddess Athena is still flowing today.
5. Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos)
Citae Madre - The Mother of all Cities! Visit the Neo Byzantine church of the Virgin Mary, admiring the marble plaque which reads 'The Hymns of Love' First Corinthians 13 1:8 and 'The Greatest of these is Love" which is found in First Corinthians 13:13. Visit the Neo Byzantine church dedicated to the apostle Paul analysing the 'Vision of the apostle Paul' and Paul's life in Corinth. A wonderful mosaic by Vlasis Tsotsonis depicting Saul on his way to Damascus in 34 AD to persecute the Christians and bring them back to Jerusalem. Hearing the voice and blinded by the light we discuss his transition his baptism by Ananias and understand his hardships in the city of Corinth including his 'judgement' by Gallio Acts 9 7:9 ACTS 9 10:19 ACTS 18 12:17
6. Archaeological Museum of Corinth
Visit the Archaeological Museum: Housing a large collection of artifacts from the local site and from smaller sites in the neighboring area we appreciate the Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman world. Visit the Archaeological site: Temple of Apollo - one of the earliest Doric temples in the Peloponnese and the Greek mainland with Doric monolithic columns, rare in the ancient world, built around 560 BCE. The Roman Agora -consisting of central shops, one of the best examples of a Roman market place. Small temples and altars, Roman buildings, the ancient amphitheatre, the Roman Odeon, the Glaufkus fountain, the Roman baths, the Lechaion road, the Roman forum and the renowned podium or Bema from where the Apostle Paul was 'judged' and presented officially for the first time to the Greeks and Romans as a Roman Citizen. It is on this platform that he preached the Belief. ACTS 18 12:17
7. Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos)
Enjoy an authentic "village style" lunch in Ancient Corinth or a wonderful seaside lunch at the Baths of Helen of Troy.

Visit the ancient port of Kenchreai or Cenchreae by the Saronic sea one of the two ports of the inland city state of Corinth.Tracing the footsteps of the Apostle Paul and his exodus from Corinth in 53 AD sailing to Ephesus with Aquila and Prescila we discuss the Nazarite vow- the cutting of the hair AC 18:18. We were picked by Peter out your guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and spoke very good English. We saw the canal, and many sites where the apostle Paul was. Some highlights: canal, marketplace, port, churches. Peter is the best.

My wife and I just finished our tour with Giannis. We wanted to "walk in the footsteps of Paul" in Corinth and this tour did not disappoint. Giannis was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our every request and we feel that we made a friend today. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone who has the time for this tour while in Athens! It is a must-do for a Christian interested in seeing the places where Paul preached and defended the gospel of Christ.

Take the foot steps of Paul tour and you’ll love it. The beautiful nice kind man that was out tour guide, his name is Tas. I’m a pastor and love theology, but I just stood quietly and listened and for minister that’s not easy lolol because the knowledge was amazing and I just wanted to learn and that we did…. It’s a long tour but worth every minute. Tas was awesome

What a wonderful, informative, entertaining, educational, and enjoyable day! We would thoroughly recommend it. The day proved to be one of the highlights (if not THE highlight) of our whole trip. Unbelievable tour!!!! A must do tour!!

Our guide Peter was PHENOMENAL!!! Filled us with so much knowledge. He was such an amazing man who was so kind and just a joy to be around. He took us to the most amazing sites and explained everything through scripture.
If you are a Christian this is a tour you must take.
It was an emotional day to say the least. One I will treasure!

Perfect day from timely pickup at our Athens downtown hotel and at least 10 stops with plenty to see and some hidden gems besides the tourist tracks.
Being just the two of us in a private car made us feel very special and was worth every dollar.
Peter was a great guide with lots of knowledge and stories about Apostle Paul and other things that happened in the Corinth area back in the ancient days.
Tour ended with a great late lunch and a nice coffee!
Peter made lots of photos and send them to us, together with some additional information to round up the day.
100% recommendation!
