An up close and personal Premium Puffin and Birdwatching tour operated in custom made RIB boats with just 12 passenger and expert birdlife guide. Operated up to 9 times a day, everyday, from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík from May 1st to August 20th.

We enjoyed a successful ocean adventure following the Orca’s and Dolphin’s, and also learned a great deal about seabirds. The trip was incredible with superb support - Pedro was a fine, competent, knowledgeable and experienced guide. The Captain Gunner Gudjonsson was assured, knew the waters very well, and handled the boat with enormous skill. We had complete confidence in our support team and loved the close encounters with such magnificent animals and the beauty of the open sea.

The tour was excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and we got to see a lot of puffins. The warm clothing they gave us was super helpful and it was a great experience.

One of the best tours we have experienced! We were so close to the puffins and other birds !! An extra highlight was having a marine biologist onboard !!

Our guide Rodrigo was really informative on the trip and it was great to understand how the birds behaved from a marine biologist’s viewpoint. We had great weather so no issues getting to Lunde and back. Would definitely recommend Whale Safari!

We had an amazing time with Mr. Puffin crew and their marine biologist, Eileen.We got suited at their establishment with protective overalls and life jackets. Then boarded one of two comfortable speedboats they had docked and headed out to two separate locations where puffins come to breed. We saw seagulls, cormorants and even a sea Lion.Then we reached an islet full of puffins in all stages: flying, nesting, fishing for food and just being goofy! They are simply too adorable and beautiful to watch. If you want to see puffins up close in their own environment; THIS is your tour. Amazing experience.

This was an amazing tour. We saw tons of puffins and many humpback whales. The staff was great. I highly recommend this tour.

It was a really enjoyable trip, guide was knowledgable and we stopped near to two islands to see puffins. Very cute and pretty birds.
Disclosure: the pictures were taken with a 40x zoom point and shoot camera. So in reality, you wont get to see the puffins this close, but with this tour you can be as close as you can get to the island.
