Join us for this Wine journey where you'll sample different types of wine in 3 family-run Wine Estates and find how they make the famous Port Wine!

Get driven into the Valley by an expert guide/driver and experience the Douro Region through its culture and food. See how the preparation of food and wine is truly an art form. You'll get to try various types of wine (Moscatel, Douro DOC Wine, Port Wine), but also Olive Oil and other local delicacies. Round-trip transportation from your accommodation in Porto is included.

1. The Douro Valley
Our day begins in Porto, the unconquered city. We start the tour and point to the east, where the Alto Douro awaits us! Today you'll have the chance of visiting three Wine Estates where you'll taste different types of Wines made in the region, like Moscatel, Douro DOC Wine and Port Wine.
2. Quinta de Avessada
Disclaimer: The Wine Estate presented might change due to availability. Our first stop in the Douro region will be at a Wine Estate in Favaios. Located between 1000 hectares of vineyards this centuries old Quinta will ease you in with their white blend, to then blow you away with the delicious nectar of golden color that is the Moscatel wine inside its sanctuary.

Disclaimer: The Restaurant presented might change due to availability. We leave now for the historic Village of Pinhão where a regional lunch awaits us in a beautiful local restaurant, but on our way we still get a chance of visiting one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the region.
4. Pinhao Railway Station
Pass by this beautiful Railway Station with famous tiles.

Here you’ll get to understand how both Douro DOC Wine & Port Wine are made having the possibility of tasting both styles at an family run Wine Estate. We had an amazing time on our tour of the Douro Valley with our guide Luis. The selection of wineries was fantastic and we especially enjoyed out private tasting and tour with one of the locations. Our guide, Luis, was very knowledgable and accommodating. He was a pleasure to talk to and helped make the experience special. Private is the way to go as you can make the experience what you want! One of the top highlights of our trip to Portugal

Brilliantly hosted - Filipa was super friendly, accomodating and patient throughouth the tour. The wineries were well-selected - 2 of the 3 were small, independant wineries where the winemakers/ owners, clearly passionate and exceptionally friendly, were hosting the very small group / private tour and tastings. Lunch was fair, a perhaps smaller (more unique) venue would have been welcome, but no issues by any means (service and food were both good). Would recommend this tour (and host!) unequivocally. Thank you!

This was an excellent tour for both those new to wine, and those who have a lot of experience. The wineries chosen each provided us a different experience to give you a much more well rounded idea of what this beautiful place is like. For those into wine, it was excellent. Not only did you have a chance to try very high quality and traditional wines, but there was also an opportunity to taste things that are a bit more experimental and different. All of the wine was fantastic! Our tour guide was Filipa and she was excellent. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the wine, but she was lovely company for the day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit the Douro Valley.

This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! We had the best time. Luis, our guide, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, fun, and took us to vineyards that we truly enjoyed. The communication prior to the tour was flawless and the day of was organized perfectly. We can't say enough great things and would 10/10 recommend this tour.

Jorge was our tour guide. He was lovely and very informative. The Duoro valley is beautiful and we loved our tour of the three wineries. Lunch was delicious as well and is served in a gorgeous setting. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the port tasting as this is not usually a wine I enjoy. All in all, it was a fabulous day!

We had an amazing day visiting wineries in the Douro Valley! Our guide, Beatriz, was fun, personable, and informative. We were stunned by the scenery and beauty, and the wineries we visited were great. We got to try many different varieties of Port and other wine. Would highly recommend this tour if you're in Porto!

Cheers to our very personable and very informative tour guide, Antonio! The winery experiences he arranged for us were all awesome. Incredible views, terrific wines, and very warm and welcome receptions at each of the wineries. My friends and I loved this tour and I would heartily recommend it for anyone planning to visit this incredible wine country. The Guide was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us much insight. Luckily the weather was good during the drive and visits. The lunch was sufficient although the selection of food choices could be improved. The Wineries were all nice with proper introduction and tasting of the wines available at the winery.
