Our guide was truly knowledgeable and very engaging. He made our tour well worth it. The wine tasting was an experience and the cheese platter at the restaurant delicious

The winery is beautiful, with many attractions, and perfect for those who want to learn about grapes, wines, and learn about the history and stories of the place. The guide Paulo, who accompanied us, knows the place like no one else and is super fun in his explanations...

Our driver Richardo was FABULOUS, communicative (even though he doesn’t speak a word of English he used translation tools and gestures), friendly, positive and a good driver.

Our guide at the vineyard Paolo is passionate, funny, though he did brush through the technologies of wine making while we were in the cellar, calling it “boring”. Also didn’t appreciate being told the color, smell and taste of wines before we even tasted them.

The tour consists of two parts, first tour of the vineyard and a brief wine tasting (of 3 different wine labels) led by Paolo. Second part was led by a sommelier (skeptical of his credential though since he avoided our question of how long did it take him to become a sommelier), with four pieces of cheese (goat, butter, Brie, Parmesan) with four glasses of wines. The wines, however, were of the same label (Marquis) but different varieties ( rose, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah).

The wines in the wine store are much more expensive than what you’d pay outside of chile. We checked the price and were shocked to see 50% price difference.

We paid for Premium wine tasting and it didn’t feel like it. The cheese certainly didn’t feel premium. We were told this place is the McDonald’s of wineries in chile and we didn’t believe it at first! kinda have to agree now.

The wine and cheese tasting was delightful, the grounds were really nice. Tasting the grapes was one of my highlights.

The tour itself was wonderful. But the Viator experience was AWFUL. driver collected us at 1.45 and we arrived at Concho y Toro at 3.25pm and were told our tour in English would be at 4.30. This was first time anyone had spoken to us since driver collected us at 1.45pm. We then had to rush the end of our 2 hour tour to get back to car park and our bus by 6.30pm. We arrived at hotel 6 hours after we left for a tour advertised as 4 hours and wine tour was actually 2 hours. So disappointed

Beautiful location, opportunity to taste not only the wine but the grapes as well. The tour is entertaining but you are rushed through the tastings and instead expected to spend considerable time in their wine shop

The journey to the winery took almost 2 hours. The driver stopped because passengers wanted to buy water. They can do that beforehand. There was another wait at the entrance to the winery, which - if it had been better organized - would not have been necessary. Concha y Toro is very popular. The stay was not comfortable. The guides on the Spanish tour were friendly, well informed and relaxed. In conclusion, despite the long journey and the time-consuming wait at the entrance, the visit itself was positive.

The pick up went late than expected so we ended up the tour very late and we had to cancel a dinner reservation. The wine tour was fine, no complaints about that only that it was short. Besides that, we purchased a tour for 3 person, but at the end we were only two and we tried to get a refund or at least a promo for the time that we wasted because of the pick up but we recieved nothing. So I would not recommend this page for further tours.

The one hour tour was interesting but the logistics of getting there were terrible. Our ticket said we had a start time of 2:30 PM but we received a notice that our driver would pick us up at 1:40 PM. Then we spent the next 1.5 hours riding in a van as our driver picked up individuals all around Santiago in a very rough, bumpy and aggressive drive. We arrived at the winery around 4 PM then had to stand around until 4:30 for an English speaking tour. The return to our hotel was a repeat of the drive to the winery as we finally got back after dark. I don’t think anyone in our group was happy with our driver who did not appear to care about anything except driving with his barkes and horn. My wife walks with a cane and we attempted to get him to slow down as he led us from the parking location to the winery but he ignored us and even reacted negatively when another woman in the group tried to intercede for us as we fell behind. Save your time for better adventures.
