1. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
Explore one of the world’s largest mosques on a half-day tour, the only mosque that captures unique interactions between Islam and world cultures. Sheikh Zayed's vision for the Grand Mosque was to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly diverse and inspirational in its foundation.
2. Etihad Towers
(Photo Stop) - The towers are located opposite the Emirates Palace hotel and feature offices, apartments and a hotel. The towers were used as a filming location for the 2015 film Furious 7. In the film, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) steal a Lykan HyperSport and drive it through three of the towers.
3. Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi
(Photo Stop) - The design of the building is a playful mix of cherished Islamic architectural elements such as balance, geometry, proportions, rhythm and hierarchical emphasis to create a unified whole. The inspired grand dome with elaborate geometrical patterns dominates over 114 smaller domes spread over the building. The color of the building aims to reflect different shades of sands found in the Arabian Desert.
4. The Corniche
(Photo Stop) - The Corniche (or Corniche Road) is located in the city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The Corniche Road spreads across an 8km long stretch. It forms a sweeping curve on the western side of the main Abu Dhabi island and is replete with cycle paths, fountains and park areas.
5. Louvre Abu Dhabi
(Photo Stop) - The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art and civilization museum, located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The museum was inaugurated on 8 November 2017 by French President Emmanuel Macron and United Arab Emirates Vice President Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The museum is part of a thirty-year agreement between the city of Abu Dhabi and the French government. The museum is located on the Saadiyat Island Cultural District. It is approximately 24,000 square metres (260,000 sq ft) in size, with 8,000 square metres (86,000 sq ft) of galleries, making it the largest art museum in the Arabian peninsula.
6. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
(Photo Stop) - Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is a mostly indoors amusement park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the first Ferrari-branded theme park and has the record for the largest space frame structure ever built. Formula Rossa, the world's fastest roller coaster, is also located here.

• The duration of the tour includes the time required for hotel pick-up and drop off
• Mosques have very strict dress codes: women must wear long loose clothing, and ensure their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to cover their heads at all times. A long Abaya with scarf (long black dress attire), Men must not show above their knees and must cover their shoulders. Failure to do so will be a refused entry. The tour operator cannot provide any clothing for men
• It is not possible to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque during any Islamic festival
• Tattoos must be covered
• It is not recommended to book this tour on Friday if you have a return flight on the same day, as the drop-off time is dependent on traffic and can not be guaranteed.
• The pick-up time will be within 45 minutes of your booked tour time. If there are any changes, you will be notified by email
• It is not recommended to book this tour on Friday as the Sheikh Zayed Mosque is closed during the travel time of the tour.
• Visitors with an official vaccine exemption must receive a negative PCR test result every 7 days to maintain ‘Green’ status. The PCR test must have been performed in the UAE.
• Children aged under 12 years automatically receive ‘Green’ status without the need to be vaccinated or to take a PCR test.
• It is not recommended to book this tour on Monday and Tuesday as the Ferrari World is closed during the travel time of the tour.

This tour was a great way to see the highlights of Abu Dhabi. Our tour guide/driver, Jaiswal, was prompt and highly organized and was very helpful in helping us take that "perfect" photo. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is stunning. The stop in the date market was a perfect place to pick up some treats to take home. The timing at each photo stop was just right to enjoy the setting and views. This was a very memorable experience.

The whole tour was rubbish from start to finish was definitely not worth what we paid no value for money considering we paid nearly £300 for this trip.
The Tour Guide we had was extremely poor, he gave us no facts regarding Abu Dhabi or any additional knowledge that may have been worth us knowing.

We arrived at the Mosque which was the first stop at the tour and was self lead by us. This was beautiful and best part about the tour!
After we had finished in the Mosque it was advised on the booking that we would have stop offs on the way back to our Hotel back in Dubai.
However, the driver/Tour Guide we had would just pull up to these stops and order us to “Get out” in a very abrupt and rude manner without even telling us where we was and what we were meant to be looking at! This was extremely nerve wracking as three young women in Abu Dhabi who had never been before! This happened at all of the stops we visited. All the Tour Guide was worried about telling us were the Driving Laws and convictions that you could get in Abu Dhabi!

When we arrived at Heritage Village, the driver parked up and again ordered us to get out and walk towards the entrance. We wasn’t sure what to expect from this stop off as it wasn’t on our list of viewing points. As we headed up to the security guard on the door he advised we could not come in without our Tour Guide. At this point our Tour Guide was sitting down with others and having a chat! We asked him to come up to the front as the guard would not let us in and he said “you do not need me”. We then asked again and he got up walked aimlessly in front of us at a far distance. The security guard then let us go through with no issues but our Tour Guide once again disappeared and let us go off on our own devices. He then reappeared after 5 minutes and at this point gave us a few random facts of the village as it seemed he had been told by someone of a senior level to actually do his job!

After this, we had one more stop off which was Ferrari world but by this point my friends and I had all just had enough and wanted to get back to our hotel safely. We thought the tour was a complete waste of money considering the amount we paid and it was only for a half day yet we didn’t get anything out of it other than the mosque! The driver looked extremely happy to drop us off earlier than the scheduled time so he really wasn’t bothered whether we was interested or not.

There was no communication on the way back to our hotel in Dubai until we got out the car at our hotel and all the Tour Guide said was “review review”. The only review and feedback I am providing is how much of a disappointment this was and that we will tell everyone to avoid at all costs!
We have all used Viatour for various tours in the past but this was the worst experience we have ever had.

I have since contacted Viatour for a refund and all they have responded back with is that Desert Thrills have rejected my refund with no explanation. Viatour are also not taking any accountability!

Jaiswal was our great driver and host. Had a lovely morning in Abu Dhabi.
The Grand Mosque is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen!
The remainder of the places were photo stops (which we knew to be the case).
Jaiswal gave us a brief overview of each place we visited.
Recommend this tour if you are short on time.

Breathtaking experience!!
The only thing I didn’t like was this wasn’t a guided tour. You are pretty much on your own as far as walking around. No history was given, but the Mosque is beautiful!!

Jaiswal ji is a awasone person to travel with. He was helpfull and his behaviour with us was excellent. He explained each abd every place in detail. Listened to our query also. Made us compertable. I will recommened him for tours when anyone is in dubai or abu dhabhi.
