Highly recommend. Perfect day trip. Great boat. Got to swim twice and the Captain had real good knowledge of the history and culture of the area.

11 strangers met, got on a boat a d had a blast! Our skipper, Alessandro (alex) was adorable and very accommodating. He had at least 3 or 4 bottles of prosecco, plenty of water, beer and made us a delicious bruschetta snack! We stopped at the restaurant on the water of capri "da gioia" (instead of splitting 100 euros for a docking fee to then figure out where else to go). We enjoyed our time at the restaurant enough that we stayed there for 3 hrs! Even grabbed dinner as a group when it was all over. Worth the value, highly reccomend.

This cruise met or exceeded all of our expectations. The Captain was very amiable and supportive of a wide diversity of mainly couples, and while the winds were a bit fresh all of the passengers were very glad to have been able to enjoy this experience.

We had the most amazing day! There was 7 of us in total on the boat which was lovely, the journey to capri was long and quite rough (so not as relaxing as we first thought) however once we got to Capri we went around the island, saw a grotto and went for a swim. After our swim we were served soft drinks and some nibbles. We were then taken Capri, now we had to pay €14 each to go to Capri, this was paid in cash to someone on the Positano port and went straight into her wallet! Seemed like a scam and curious to see what would have happened if we didn’t pay the fee. Once we arrived in Capri we had free time to get lunch (don’t bother service is dreadful in both the restaurants by the port and overpriced) we also went for a swim on the beach. We had three hours on Capri which was enough time. The boat then took us straight back to a Positano. Loveky day was just expecting a bit more? The information here suggests champagne, and food tasting which we didn’t get to do?

This trip is a must-do during your trip to Positano. We researched various boat tours on Viator and even walked up to some on the beach in Positano and were so happy to have picked this tour! We met Giulliana right near the pier in Positano at 9am and then set off on our way to Capri. Beautiful ride to the island with great music and plenty of room to sit on the front and back of the boat to catch some rays. After arriving in Capri, we rode through the iconic Faraglioni with plenty of time for photos. We also went around to each of the grottos (white, coral, green, red) and we rode past blue grotto although it was closed for visitors for the day. We then pulled off to a swimming area and were able to jump off the boat to swim and cool off. When we got back on the boat, our captain had poured us a bottle of prosecco and prepared a plate of meat + cheeses + crackers - a perfect snack after a dip on a hot day! We then rode into Capri and had 3 hours to dock and explore the island. We learned that you could either pay 100 Euro to dock directly at Capri OR surpass that fee by eating at a restaurant on the water. We decided to go straight for the dock in order to not waste any time eating at a restaurant when we could be exploring. This meant we each had to pay 11 Euro (there were 8 of us on the tour) on top of the fee of the tour for the docking (just as a FYI, bring extra Euro!). After 3 hours in Capri we returned to the boat and sailed back to Positano. We did not make any stops on the way back. We think this may have been because two people from our group showed up about 30 minutes behind schedule (tip - make sure to be on time, this meant our whole group had to wait on them before getting back on the boat!). One thing I would note is that it seemed our group had to take a vote on whether on going into the blue grotto or not (since there would have been a long wait if it wasn't closed) as well as stopping at the restaurant or not. When it comes to the blue grotto, there is always a long wait and could be closed (which happened to us) so just keep in mind that if you really want to do the blue grotto it may be best to book a blue grotto specific tour, as you may be overruled by the majority depending on your group's preferences. Thank you Viator for helping us find this awesome tour!

This excursion was the highlight of our time in Italy. Small group 7 of us including my now Fiancé. He proposed right in from of the famous Faraglioni rocks! Captain was amazing. We got to see all grottos (except blue) line was too long. We had snacks and prosecco, and got to swim. We got to spend 3 hrs in Capri. Limoncello for afterwards on the way back. Boat was pristine clean. HIGHLY recommend this trip!

Set up like boating with a small group of friends. We ate, drank, and swam in beautiful locations! Got to see the Grotto's as well as spend time to eat and shop on Capri. It really was a perfect day.
