I decided to go based on the reviews and hope that anyone who is unsure will do the same. I assure you, you won’t regret it! My husband and I joined the tour on the same day we arrived in Lisbon, and it was the best decision. Although it was a four-hour walk, our guide, Livia, made it so enjoyable that we hardly felt tired and time just flew by. Her passion for what she was showing us, combined with her knowledge of food and culture, was contagious and truly made it worthwhile.
We were fortunate to be part of a lovely group of people - Rob, Rose, Randy & Cindy - which definitely enhanced our experience.

A wonderful evening meeting some great people and learning how to cook new recipes original to Portugal.
The chefs were interacting and engaging, definitely great experience learning how to cook Portuguese food.
The workshop was in a professional kitchen and that made it easy to navigate around the space safely and we got to enjoy all that was made with some good local wine and cheese.
I’d recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning how to cook some Portuguese food.

This walking tour is perfect for wine and food enthusiasts and for everyone else. Rodrigo was competently able to highlight and combine the taste and culture of historical sites in Lisbon. Approximately 2 1/2 hours of walking and 1 1/2 hours of sitting and eating. We were very pleased with the quality and amount of food and wine provided. The value is considerably more than what we paid for this tour, which was very reasonably priced. It was great to be in a smaller group format, which allowed us to interact with our guide who was very informative and friendly. Highly recommended this tour and we would do it again!

Excellent experience. Livia was an outstanding guide. She has a great personality, she's knowledgeable, she is a foodie, and she gave us great eating/dining recommendations. We had a fun afternoon. And our group, who were strangers at the beginning, hung out afterwards bc we had such a good time together. The tour was well worth it. Note: it's not a tour to stuff yourself, it's more about tasting and learning, although I was full at the end.

The tour of Lisbon cuisine provided a wonderful opportunity to explore a wide variety of wine, food and the preparation. We visited several neighborhoods and historical sites.
In addition to enjoying the food and wine, we also shared the experience with 9 others from Illinois, Maine, California, New Zealand and Germany.
Livia was a fabulous guide proving both historical information as well as descriptive overview of the food and wine that we enjoyed.
Highly recommend taking this food tour.

My husband and I cannot say enough about this experience. We had the opportunity to spend the evening with Miguel, our guide. Not only did we have incredible tastings, it was a wonderful introduction to the city Lisbon. We would recommend taking this tour at the start of your visit. After the tour, Miguel sent us information on the locations we visited and further recommendations on sites to visit in and around Lisbon. Book this experience, you will not be disappointed!

So happy that we booked this tour! We saw parts of Lisbon we never would have found without the tour. The places we were taken and the food experience was exceptional. And it was fabulous thanks to Marina. There’s nothing better than a guide who’s passionate about their city and wants to share an impressive experience and share the real city with you. The group is intimately small (I think max 12) which lets you meet new people and share a great evening out. Thank you Marina, if I had more holidays we’d see you in the Azores!

It was a lovely tour of restaurants that we never would have found on our own in the heart of Portugal. Knowing nothing about the local cuisine, I thought it was a great overview of the favorite local dishes. I also loved the focus on small, family-owned businesses and learning a little bit about the culture along the way.
