The workshop will take place in our ceramic studio, where you will get the chance to see the creative process and the artworks of multiple contemporary ceramic artists. Come and join our creative crowd!

Our teacher was very nice and gave us the freedom to implement our own ideas, while providing guidance and support. It was a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere where ideas could flourish.

My friends and I had a great time painting tiles. Egle was super helpful and knowledgeable. Because of the rainy weather, we met to paint in the studio. We were able to see lots of different pottery pieces as well. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend this highly enough! Egle is a great artist and a wonderful host, and painting the tiles was such a unique and rewarding experience. I especially appreciate how well it works for different levels of art skill - my girlfriend is a talented artist and I am the opposite of that, so I was a bit worried that either it would be too hard for me or too easy for her, but Egle did a fantastic job making sure that we were both able to participate well; I was able to use stencils and transfer paper to make a beautiful design, and Egle helped her free-hand her own concept. My only regret is that since it was raining we met at her workshop instead of at the gardens, but the workshop is lovely and the location is very convenient - it just gives us a reason to do it again next time we’re in Porto!

Our painting session was the perfect respite on our trip to Porto. We met in the gardens of the Crystal Palace in a secluded area (near the kids playground). The day was going to be warm but we were in the shade of the old trees, sitting at picnic tables made of granite slabs. Our instructor brought all of our needed supplies. She had sample images to paint. We copied the image onto clay tiles and the painted to our hearts desire using traditional colors. The finished product will be waiting for us at home.

A wonderful experience. The setting was perfect in the middle of a park. Our instructor, Egle, was friendly and helpful. She worked with us on more difficult areas and cleaned up our mistakes.

My mother, sister and I booked a tile painting workshop with Eglė, and it was one of our absolute favorite experiences in Porto! We met at the main gate of the Jardins do Palacio de Cristal and were guided through the stunning gardens to a shady area with tables overlooking the Douro River. It was stunning! Eglė was knowledgeable, patient and very kind to us. Only one of us has had much painting experience, but we all felt that the project was well within our ability. We can’t wait to receive our tiles and see how the fired finished pieces look! We’ve said many times that it was a highlight of our trip - a stunning setting and a truly relaxed afternoon connecting with one of the most iconic aspects of Porto, its famous azulejos tiles. Highly recommended!

We were looking for an activity that would give us a rest from walking so this was perfect. Egle explained the basics of painting a ceramic tile and was super helpful with suggestions and encouragement. I highly recommend this activity for a day when you want to take a break and do something creative.

My partner and I had a wonderful time with Egle. She was full of energy and very bright, helped us with our designs, and was incredibly patient and kind. You can tell she is passionate about art and tile painting, and it was an amazing activity to fully inmerse onself in the local culture whilst enjoying beautiful views in the garden.
