Our tour with Victor has been a real highlight of our visit to Porto. The 3 hours flew by. Victor is warm, funny, knowledgeable, and intent on getting to know us so he could tailor his content and comments to our interests. From the Celtic founding to the Portuguese inquisition in Porto to the Carnation Revolution, and from the Tile Museum to the best pasteis de nata in the city, we were treated to Highlights and Hidden Gems. Even after our tour, Victor sent us recommendations for other sites and restaurants we might enjoy. It's always a gamble when you book a tour but we hit the jackpot. Thanks, Victor!

We had an amazing morning with Rui. It was very informative and comfortable. We saw many places we would have never known were there. Great conversation with him about so many topics. It was a true learning experience and we really enjoyed it!

Our guide, Rui, worked with the WithLocals tour company. He met us on time and was a very kind and knowledgable tour guide. The tour was three hours as promised. His English was excellent and he answered every question that we asked. We would highly recommend booking this private tour with Rui as your tour guide.

We had a fabulous 3 hour tour of Porto with Orlando yesterday. He has extensive knowledge and was really informative, explaining everything in a simple way that was so easy to take in. We learned so much about city and Portugese history during the time we spent with him and would therefore highly recommend both Orlando and a walking tour if you really want to see the city, thank you so much

Fernando met us on a rainy day and gave us a very good tour of the city. He was considerate to find places to duck into during the rain, never interrupting his narrative of the city. He is an historian and told us fun facts about the city.

Mayumi is a perky, smiling, and intelligent guide, well versed in the history of Porto. We began with a detailed tour of a beautiful church and sacristy. She could point out details which would be missed by the casual observer. We walked the town at a nice easy pace and she was cheerful even when it occasionally rained. She took us to a place where they make the famous custard tarts; they were delicious! We highly recommend her as a guide.
